★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lousy hotel and i mean lousy. Worst i have been in with this price lever. Is anything but a boutique hotel. Room was to have been a suite with air cond. Didnt work, employees kept insisting it did. No windows to open so room was more than uncomfortable. Plus upon waking someone next door was burning trash, impossible to breath. One drinking glass, one bottle of water and less than a half roll of toilet paper. Furniture was very poor quality and room arrangement was illogical. Never will stay there again. Too many other options that are better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location! This hotel is the most scenic and probably the most romantic in Bernal. The house has a long history, and it's really interesting to hear all the intrigues and legends that have surrounded it by centuries.
My room was Magdalena, and it was a normal size room with bathtub and a beautiful view to Peña de Bernal. The room was located in the 3rd floor, so if you have extra luggage or not able to climb stairs better to have a room in the ground level.
Shower was fantastic... good water pressure.
Food was very good specially the pink mole, but to be fair, all food was very good. The restaurant also has a good selection of Mexican wines.
Watch up for the beautiful light at sunrise and sunset over Peña de Bernal and the church.
The only minus was wifi. It is widely available but it didn't reach properly to my room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very slow service, small portions, overpriced and food wasn’t that great. Coffee is poorly prepared (watery espresso, cortado with no milk cappuccinos with almost no coffee). We were there for breakfast, maybe lunch and dinner menu is better.
