★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casa Mech is the perfect spot to enjoy Holbox.
Located at walking distance from the center of the village where most of the restaurants, bars and beaches are, it allows to enjoy in a few steps a dinner or drinks.
Mauricio, the owner of the house also rents bikes for a fair price so that reaching the more remote locations of the island like Punta Cocos or Punta Mosquitos is really easy.
In addition to that, Mauricio has been a very kind host helping us with any request we had and accommodating us in any possible way.
Finally, the house is nice (designed by Mauricio himself who is an Architect) and clean.
Definitely recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful tree house boutique hotel a couple of streets back from the good part of the beach. Mauricio who runs it is a wealth of local tips and one of the nicest guys you’ll meet. Highly recommend for price, quality and location. Close to the best eats, the beach and quiet at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Isais and the whole hotel was just fantastic. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every single minute. She was really helpful and talky and after these three nights we became somewhat like friends. We told her that we will do a worldtrip in 2023 and that we'll visit her beautiful place again :)
The room was absolutely clean and had a nice, modern style. The pool on the rooftop is fantastic to refresh. To get from the hotel to the inner city you have to walk just about 5 minutes. Also, you can rent bikes at Casa Mech for a price you can't finde anywhere else (100 Pesos/person/day).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend. Great value for money. The hosts are great and super friendly. My girlfriend had a migraine attack and they went into town to get us some food. Super helpful with tips of things to do and eat on the island as well as booking seem-less transport. Just very sound, good genuine people with heart. Would happily stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved the architecture and tidyness of the place, the service was excellent and our room was beautiful with a huge king size bed and cozy veranda. Irais is the nicest host you can imagine, she is lovely! The location of Casa Mech is perfect, just 3-4 minutes outside of the buzz in el centro and very quite despite the traffic on the island. 100% would recommend a stay here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best stays i have ever had. Felt like coming home! The owner and his sister are super nice and very helpful with everything you need. In addition the rooms are very nice and clean and there is a rooftop pool which is very beautiful. Will definitely come back there!
