Wow this place is outstanding; it left me in a state of “speechless” for the entire vacay. You enter the area through a gate that divides you from the main town of Punta De Mita and you are surrounded in luxury as you make your way to your destination. The roads are well manicured and taken care of, landscaping is phenomenal and getting from point A to B is very simple. Inside the Mita gates you have two well known five-star resorts (St Regis and Four Seasons) as well as multi-million dollar mansions/villas. The golf course is spectacular and the many different beach clubs are all unique and amazing as well. The fine dining experiences are all amazing, my favourite being Sufi, which is located near the Pier. Our stay was so amazing, we rented a villa in the Lagos Del Mar street/area, and the security man at the gate entering this specific street was so helpful, kind and genuine (wish I would have grabbed his name but for some reason I never got it). You can’t find better service. All of the security men for that matter were amazing, helpful and made our vacation such a breeze. Travelling within the gate is super easy because you can access anything inside the Mita gate or in the actual town outside the gates with a rented golf cart, and the roads are designed to accommodate that. If you rent a singular villa/mansion like ours, the services provided are housekeeping, chefs and maintence staff, which was beyond what we could have needed but the service was outstanding and appreciated. I should add that you can reserve third party chefs to provide lux dinners to you as well, which I would highly recommend because we had amazing experiences with two separate chefs. A little birdy told me that you might run into celebrities so that’s pretty cool, especially if you come from a city that has 0 like us from Canada. Last but definitely not least, the sunsets and sunrises are spectacular and breath taking. I didn’t miss one! Definitely will return!
