★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El hotel es lindo, las habitaciones cómodas y limpias. En lo particular tuve una muy mala experiencia con el servicio prestado por una persona en particular. Desde la recepción al llegar al hotel. En ves de hacer que valiera la pena el cobro extra que el hotel decidió hacerme a mi indebidamente, por una mala gestión entre hoteles.com y el hotel María Elena con las especificaciones de la reservación que realice. Esta persona nos dio un trato poco cordial, se puede decir en tono agresivo y de confrontación no solo en la llegada sino en 2 ocasiones mas. Una pena por los propietarios que han perdido por ello a unos clientes, pues la atención al huésped es tan importante como las instalaciones.
 The hotel is nice, the rooms comfortable and clean. In particular, I had a very bad experience with the service provided by a particular person. From the reception upon arrival at the hotel. Instead of making it worthwhile the extra charge that the hotel unduly decided to make me, due to mismanagement between hotels.com and the María Elena hotel with the specifications of the reservation I made. This person gave us an unfriendly treatment, it can be said in an aggressive and confrontational tone not only on arrival but on 2 more occasions. A shame for the owners who have lost some customers because of this, because the attention to the guest is as important as the facilities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vale cada peso, la atención es muy buena, los cuartos están de muy buen tamaño, de hecho grandes, está limpio, los desayuno ya vienen con la habitación pero son muy buenos los desayunos (demasiado) aparte cuenta con estacionamiento dentro del hotel, algo que en San Miguel es muy importante, está a 4 cuadras de la catedral y aparte te dan bastantes opciones que puedes hacer en San Miguel!

It is worth every peso, the attention is very good, the rooms are of a very good size, in fact large, it is clean, the breakfasts already come with the room but the breakfasts are very good (too) apart, it has parking inside the hotel, something that in San Miguel is very important, it is 4 blocks from the cathedral and apart from that they give you quite a few options that you can do in San Miguel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Location was excellent with great access to Centro as well as Juarez Park. The rooms were large and comfortable and the rooftop terrace was lovely. Spa bath in the room was a treat.. Negative: The staff don;t speak much English but we could get by with a little Spanish and hand signs. We've experienced greater hospitality elsewhere and we had to find out things for ourselves (such as the existence of the roof terrace). Also, there is only one room key so need to factor that in or leave the key at the desk..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The location was very good, walking distance from city center as well as the events we'd attended. The people / staff were very sweet and helpful. A large jar of drinking water was in the room, enjoyed it. The room was spacious & comfortable. Coffee & tea were available free of charge around the clock.. Negative: Our room was facing the cobblestone street, a little noisy; the ear-plugs offered by the hotel are not our thing. Breakfast was minimal, cold when served, due to timing of service..
