★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a confirmed booking here. Once we arrive late at 9pm the taxi driver couldn’t find casa Nicolás. When we finally got ahold via telephone the owner said we had no booking and refused to help us. Wouldn’t send address etc and hung up on us. Took our money. We had to walk playa del Carmen with 3 kids and tons of luggage and a dog. Almost missed curfew. Almost had to sleep on street. Then found a hotel had to pay 200$ Casa Nicolás also took our money and refused to allow us to stay. Once we complained casa Nicolás told us to deal with booking. No help. Do NOT stay here. Do not book it. It is a scam. They have no website. No FB. Don’t do it. Reviews are fake.
