Casa Nostra Roof Restaurant - 77310 Holbox

I really wanted to love this place but I was a bit underwhelmed with everything I tasted. I had the tuna steak and asked for rare but it was way too rare and still cold. They put it back on the grill for me for a little bit more which helped but it was still just alright. The salad that came with it was a poor excuse for a salad but the rosemary potatoes were amazing. The margarita was also pretty good but not the best I’ve had on the island. Last, I tried the limoncello tiramisu which was also subpar - too much filling (custard? whipped cream?) and not enough of the breading/lady finger cookies. It also barely tasted like lemon. Service was awesome though. Every staff member I encountered was very nice and spoke at least some English. They take credit card although it depends on the signal like anywhere on the island. Prices are very reasonable - $100mxn for cocktails and desserts, about $200mxn for entree. Also has a cool atmosphere that is breezy, relaxing, and not crowded.

Very good service. English speaking staff. Our waiter named Pedro was very courteous and explained everything well. We all had pasta and every single one was delicious. The grilled stuff also looked very good. Prices are totally fine for this kind of location and service.

Excellent Italian meal wonderful service (Spanish/English) it's open on all sides nice breeze definitely recommend it! After 7 reservations are probably needed it's a popular spot!

The food was amazing, very authentic Italian cuisine! It was a very good alternative to the Mexican tacos and so on. The waiters were very attentive and the service was great overall. The wine card is also exceptional good. Absolutely worth visiting!

Giuseppe (the chef/owner) was welcoming and understanding. He made a few modifications for our dietary requests which were appreciated. We had the carpaccio to start and a pasta and fish dish as our mains. The Mediterranean fish of the day was in a phenomenal white wine sauce. Pasta was very fresh and delicious! We both left satisfied as the meals were generous portions and very tasty. Elliot was an attentive server, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and private with a cool breeze on the roof. An excellent authentic Italian dinner experience in Holbox - all thanks to three hard working folks in the kitchen.
