★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff of the Casa Ollin are the most remarkable and attention to detail oriented team. Every need, from directions to advice they provide with grace. In addition the Chef makes the most incredible traditional breakfast every morning!! It’s absolutely a place to stay in Oaxaca. Can’t wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After taking a night bus from Huatulco to Oaxaca and passing 32 ° C to 6 ° C was a big change; However, the staff was very nice and let us check in early, which suited me very well, I had the opportunity to sleep in a comfortable and warm bed before going to explore the city which is lovely. Judith is a great person, she gave us good recommendations on places to visit and things to do; They always cook regional food for breakfast, which was great, I suggest that if you are not accustomed to food with condiments, order normal scrambled eggs or something, otherwise you may have stomach problems by changing food. The pool was lovely, but with the cold, we never went.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent some wonderful days at Casa Ollín; the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff is awesome!! From the very beginning we felt like being at home and being part of the family. Carla and Ernesto are warmhearted, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and can either recommend or organize trips to the different sightseeing places in and around Oaxaca. We absolutely recommend this place! It's worth every single peso and probably the best value for money that you will find in this magnificent city!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unparalleled hospitality at this family-owned bed and breakfast where they obviously take pride in providing excellent service for the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Carla and José were always willing to help in Spanish or English. The breakfast exceeded my expectations for a B&B (better than some local restaurants). Very safe and secure—even though Oaxaca is a very safe city, it was nice having more security than at other places I stayed. The decor and details draw from the handicrafts and art of local indigenous communities. And the pool and the rooms are even nicer than the photos. The best value in Oaxaca on a quiet street just steps from the city center. I hope I can come back again and stay even longer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forget the "air" -- this is a real B&B that feels like a family home with the sweetest family you can ask for. It's a tranquil refuge in the heart of Oaxaca de Juarez. Lots of lovely common space to catch up with other guests -- or find alone time on the roof or most rooms' private terraces. Breakfast was some excellent fruit & chilequiles from 8-10am. No AC (at least in our room) was no problem even in mid-July -- the fans were more than enough. Everyone is amazingly patient with bad Spanish & several folks have fluent English too. Do recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second stay at Casa Ollin. Karla our hostess was most accommodating in every way possible. She assisted us with making reservations for our walking tour, helped to cancel my dinner reservations at a local restaurant, had great recommendations to local activities and restaurants. These are just a few. Our very authentic Mexican breakfasts did not disappoint. We had chilaquiles one morning. Black bean soup with tortilla strips was another delicious entree. We had fried eggs with fresh tomato sauce, cactus, squash. All well prepared and tasty. The coffee was not the greatest but we were able to find close by coffee shops that prepared latte's and capuchinos. Karla also arranged for our ride to the airport which was an early morning ride and our driver was pleasant and got us to the airport in a timely manner. Walk to the center of town was less than 10 minutes so location was PERFECT. Thank you Karla and your crew for making our stay in Oaxaca excellent.
