It is a very nice place. The host is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is tasty, many things are close to the place. The atmosphere is amazing, they have pool, rooms are clean

It's ok. Not really up to the standards of most Americans. No AC, no TV (don't know why you'd want it), no hot water. Only two electrical outlets in the entire room. Very noisy. In US it wouldn't get 1 star. I'm probably being generous with 3, but I had a great vacation ?

OMG this was such a great find! First of all Jorge (the manager and perhaps owner) is such a sweet guy. The lady that cooked breakfast was also a sweetheart. The rooms are so freaking cute! Very minimalistic with a touch of beach and freshness. Loved the little plants in glass bottles. Very laid back, welcoming and very peaceful place. Will totally stay here again and definitely recommend.

We loved the place. A bit of a longer walk from the beach, but a lot of place to chill/work around the pool. Very low-key and simple place

Rooms are very clean, but simple. There are no shelves or drawers to put your stuff. Rooms can be uncomfortably warm without a/c, and the ones near the street are noisy. Staff is excellent.

My experience in Casa Pancho was very good. The accommodation has a very good location and the rooms were very pretty and clean. Also the host Fausto was super nice and always available if you needed anything. I recommend to stay here a long time! ?

Its basically a step above a hostel. That is absolutely fine with me. The problem is that they dont tell the truth on their website and booking agencies. With the services described on the website it sounds like a nice hotel - which was supposed to be a treat for me after not travelling during the pandemic. "Cafeteria in the accommodation"..."24 hr reception"..."Airport transportation"..."Air-conditioning"..."24 hr security"..."Children's menu". Sounds wonderful. None of those things were true. On top of that no hot water, terrible (almost non existent) wifi, free breakfast was a simple light snack. This next one is the best - a guest in another room tried her key in my door and it worked! I also paid more than 30% more than other guests ( my fault for using the booking agency on their website but I couldn't find a direct number to contact the hostel myself). The ladies cleaning and working in the kitchen area were absolutely lovely, helpful and hard working. So it all depends on your expectations but dont set them too high because its false advertising.
