★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Las olas del mar rompen a dos o tres metros de Casa Pericos. Eso podría ser bueno. La parte frontal de Casa Pericos está totalmente abierta. Eso también podría ser bueno. Sin embargo, la realidad es que estas dos cosas conjuntamente hacen que el lugar sea incómodo. Las olas del océano, que rompen sobre piedras y una pared de cemento (como decía a dos o tres metros de la casa) producen un ruido enloquecedor, sobre todo por las noches. Nosotros NO pudimos dormir en toda la noche. Además, a casa Pericos no le da el sol en todo el día y por las tardes/noches hace bastante frío. La casa se encuentra en la parte abierta (al viento y olas del océano) de la bahía de Yelapa. Por último, el dueño no se encuentra en el lugar, y cada pregunta sobre los inconvenientes que turismos fueron respondidas después de 3 y 4 horas. En teoría hay un "housekeeper" pero nunca respondió nuestras llamadas. En definitiva, nos íbamos a quedar tres noches y nos quedamos solo una. En general, el lugar podría ser encantador, pero se convierte en una experiencia horrible.
The waves of the sea break two or three meters from Casa Pericos. That could be good. The front of Casa Pericos is completely open. That could also be good. However, the reality is that these two things together make the place uncomfortable. The waves of the ocean, which break on stones and a cement wall (as I said two or three meters from the house) produce a maddening noise, especially at night. We could not sleep all night. In addition, Pericos house does not give the sun all day and in the evenings / nights it is quite cold. The house is in the open part (to the wind and waves of the ocean) of the bay of Yelapa. Finally, the owner is not in the place, and every question about the inconveniences that tourisms were answered after 3 and 4 hours. In theory there is a "housekeeper" but he never answered our calls. In short, we were going to stay three nights and we were only one. In general, the place could be lovely, but it becomes a horrible experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is for the adventurous, people who love nature and want to try something different. It is truly a gem and I will never forget it. I loved it! The problem was that I stayed there during bad weather and the waves were so strong I had nightmares, exciting but scary. One evening the little walkway to the hotel flooded with splashing waves and we couldn't get back to the hotel. It would have helped if someone had warned us to go back early or if we had help to get back. We went to a traditional hotel after that experience. But, would go back with nice weather for the adventure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to stay in Yelapa. 7 stays, and planning next year. There is lots to do if you need to move, but if you want to unwind, here it is. We like to cook dinner in and enjoy the subset shine on Cabo Corrientos with Margaritas. This stay we had fresh red snapper, home made raviolis from a local vender, stuffed poblanos, and more. Long lazy afternoons, and quiet star studded evenings.
