We wanted a low-key destination to welcome in the New Year, and Casa Preciosa was the perfect place. They have two very clean apartments, and we rented both for the week. Great rooftop, with an amazing view, where we had our breakfasts and dinners. Spent our days on the beach and our nights telling stories around the fire pit next to the pool. It’s also a great location for day trips to the Santa Barbara Cenotes and Mayapan Ruins. The hosts, Paula and Jack, are super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go back!

I normally don't write reviews but this property is so good! We wanted a place where we could have a relaxing beach vacation but also be close enough to explore cenotes and archeological sites of the Yucatán. Casa Preciosa ended up being perfect for that! From the moment my husband and I booked, and all throughout the trip, the hosts had great communication and were willing to help with any questions we had. Upon arrival my first impression was how much attention to detail the hosts put into the place. Little things like a lot of hooks in the bathroom to a complete guidebook of the area show they have really thought about guests comfort. Oh and speaking of comfort, the bed was amazing! Supportive without being too hard. I didn't take any photos of the room but it looks just like it's advertised on the website. The exterior of the property is gorgeous and there are plenty of private places to sit where it feels like you have the entire house to yourself. We stayed a month and spent a lot of days just at the property because it's so relaxing and has everything we needed. However, if you want to take the 1 min walk to the beach, the hosts can set you up with beach towels and chairs. Listen for the homemade ice cream cart swing by to top off your day! I feel like I could go on and on because this place is just amazing. It's not on the tourist path just yet so book this place if you want a real Mexican vacation without the craziness of Señor Frogs? I still can't believe how amazing this place is! We stayed 4 nights at casa preciosa and we had a wonderful time! The "casitas" are the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Mexican coast. You will find everything you need, from pots and glasses to beach chairs and a bbq! The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent..and location is simply incredible! On top of all that, Paula and Jack are the perfect hosts. They are kind, helpful and super friendly. I can't stop thanking them for sharing their little piece of paradise with the world.

Casa Preciosa is the most charming and well designed vacation rental I've ever stayed in. From the beautiful courtyard and pool area, with a little secret garden, to the stunning views from the rooftop terrace, its a paradise for your soul! The casitas are so well appointed with a comfy queen bed, large closet, everything you need to cook meals, and great water pressure in the shower! Paula and Jack are the nicest, warmest, coolest hosts, and they made us feel so welcome. They completely respect your privacy but they're there for you if you need anything or want to pick their brain about the area. When we checked into the casita, they had such a beautiful welcome basket for us with fruit, drinks, and goodies… such a thoughtful thing to do! They also supply beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, pool noodles, wifi, water & Netflix. We were just 15 minutes from Progreso and 35 minutes from Merida. So many fun things to do and see here. It was the perfect vacation and the most perfect place to stay. Cant wait to go back!

Wow what a great experience! Lovely little town with delicious food and lovely hosts with great conversation. A few steps to the beach, comfortable bed, crisp cool AC, perfect water pressure and a gorgeous rooftop patio surrounded by jungle with astonishing aqua ocean views of the Gulf of Mexico. Highly recommend it for anyone that wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and tourist areas and immerse themselves into a more calm, relaxed and authentic local Mexican town ?

Casa Preciosa is really the best place to stay! Paula and Jack are just the best hosts and their house is gorgeous. You'll have the best time by the pool, and will be few steps away from the ocean.
