★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the most pleasant stay at Casa Punta ! I stayed abt 10d. there in total but I wish I could have stay longer !
The staff is great, always very nice and helpful, they make you feel like at home. The dorms are spacious enough, clean overall, beds are comforable. They have the most furnished kitchen I have seen in Mexico, which is important when staying for long time at one place I think.
The vibe has always been amazing there and I have met a lot of great people there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a really nice hostel. We can definately recommend it. Santiago and Maxi are very helpful and easy going. The beach is just a few meters away. Opposite the hostel there is a small shop (it has everything you need). The hostel organized a Pizza evening (only 100 per person) where you can eat as much pizza as you want and it was really delicious. There is also a nice common area where you can get to know other people and can drink some beers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite hostels in all of Mexico. The staff is great people. Tony and Tonya (the owner and her husband) were two of the most kind people I've met while traveling. This hostel in a fun but more relaxed neighborhood in the outskirts of Puerto Escondido. Good people, good atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed recently at casa punta and it was one of my favourite hostels I have been to . It was super clean , very well situated , but with no doubts I can say that the vibe within the hostel was my favourite part ! The second I walked in ,I have been treated and felt like a part of a wonderful big family , all the guys and girls that work there were super welcoming , helpful, and would go out of their way to make your stay pleasant! Thank you guys for making my time in la punta such an enjoyable and great experience.Definitely recommend this hostel and hoping To be back there soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Except for the great location in the center of La Punta, I can’t recommend anything at this hostal. The staff was very unfriendly and where only busy with theirselves. It was not really clean, the kitchen not, but also they never cleaned the bathroom in the 5 days I stayed there. Besides they were not flexible in canceling our last night, while we requested this 3 days beforehand…
I would choose another hostal next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You really feel at home as soon as you step through the door. The inner lounge is great for meeting people, the kitchen is kept meticulously clean, it's a 3 minute walk to the beach, I'd definitely stay here again if I was in Puerto again.
