This place is beautiful and quiet. Great service, food was ok but we traveled for couple days and got to our room with no hot water, No WiFi, can’t use the pool, the owners sister’s and friends was having some drinks with her friends right across from my room, next day was the same thing, noisy like hell. I asked our little guy to do something about our problems he tried his best but he couldn’t deliver for couple days finally we left. I tried to called and speak to her (owner’s sister) but no answer. Relaxing, work and shower that’s all I needed. ?

We did not stay here, we just had dinner and drinks but I wish we had stayed there! The setting is gorgeous and the service was impeccable. I had a delicious mexcal cocktail for 100 pesos, the food was all excellent. The staff were kind enough to show us the rooms and they were stunning! Each one had a patio and was beautifully appointed. Highly recommend!

Food was served cold and portions were too small with dried up beans. We made the remark to the waiter but no effort to change the plate was done. The best thing we had there was the coffee. Room was beautiful but that’s all. Beds were too stiff, No wifi, appointment was scheduled for the temazcal but I had to follow up on it. In the end, it was canceled. No backups. Overall dissatisfaction. Not worth the price per night. Too noisy at night. Also parking is a nightmare, they have no space for more than 3 cars. Had to wait 25mins for people to move their cars for us to leave. Not worth the price tag, just avoid.

Beautiful place. Very scenic and chilly when I came but so worth it. The heated pool is great and service was amazing. It was a nice rest.

Where to start. We arrived to a host asking us which room we were staying in which felt odd. The food like others had mentioned was the worst we experienced in Mexico. Bland, no salsa, no love. The drinks were also bad. When you read the websites description of their cuisine the bate and switch feels egregious. The staff were busy on their phones the whole time and made us feel unwelcome which we didn’t experience anywhere else. We were there 5 nights total and the only ones there for three nights. During the time we were the only ones we asked if the room could be cleaned and literally got the reply maybe…it never was during our stay. The mattress was laughably hard and we sleep on an extra firm mattress at home. We asked to schedule a temazcal. First we were quoted 150% of what the posted laminated sheet in the room said and then told it wasn’t available. Did one in San José del Pacifico for 1/4 the price quoted per head. We watched them clean a room three days after a couple left. We had to keep asking for TP, soap or garbage bags, standard stuff. There was no one to talk to about scheduling any of their offered services. The pool was downright slimy. Last day it was all hands on deck cleaning as if the owner was about to show up. It was wild watching all of the neglected things being attended to as we were on our way out. We were really thankful to have a rental car so we could explore the wonderful pueblos, Zapotec sites, caves, Hierve el agua, etc. The area had to offer. As the hotels location isn’t in walking distance to much. The warmth of the people in the region was apparent everywhere except casa Regina. Felt like the classic absentee owner who chose the wrong staff. Finally the price which if everything was as described would’ve been fine felt like a horrible waste. Have never felt compelled to write a review this much but want to warn folks to just skip this place and not fall for what are clearly fake reviews or when this establishment was cared for in the past.
