★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno de los mejores lugares para ir por un buen mezcal es Casa Relámpago, este lugar ya es de tradición en Cholula gracias a su excelente servicio y gran variedad de aguardientes, licores, mezcales, cerveza y coctelería. Puedes probar sus variedades de mezcales de la casa, o un sampler con algunos que llamen tu atención. Tiene variedades de Oaxaca. Puebla y Michoacán, además de aguardientes locales, sotol y bacanora. Puedes comenzar con una grosellita que es una bebida de aguardiente y refresco de grosella, y seguir con algún coctel. Aquí lo único que te debe preocupar es elegir ya que ellos se encargan de recomendarte según tus gustos. Entre las cerveza de la casa debes probar las de Cervecería Cholula y las de colaboración.
One of the best places to go for a good mezcal is Casa Relámpago, this place is already a tradition in Cholula thanks to its excellent service and a wide variety of spirits, liquors, mezcal, beer and cocktails. You can try their varieties of mezcals from the house, or a sampler with some that catch your attention. It has varieties from Oaxaca. Puebla and Michoacán, as well as local spirits, sotol and bacanora. You can start with a currant, which is a brandy and currant soda drink, and continue with a cocktail. Here the only thing that you should worry about is choosing since they are in charge of recommending you according to your tastes. El local está súper bien ambientado y decorado, mantiene esa imagen de almacén de pueblo viejo con un toque distinguido y sofisticado, excelente paleta de colores mexicanos sin caer en los clásicos colores chillones de nuestro folklore, la selección de mezcales es súper amplia y los cockteles a base de espirituosas están muy bien logrados, de buen sabor y equilibrio. Suerte Casa Relámpago, que sean muy visitados por locales y turistas.
Excellent mezcaleria !! The place is super well set and decorated, it maintains that image of an old town warehouse with a distinguished and sophisticated touch, an excellent palette of Mexican colors without falling into the classic garish colors of our folklore, the selection of mezcals is super wide and the cocktails based on spirits they are very well achieved, with good flavor and balance. Lucky Casa Relámpago, that they are very visited by locals and tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una mezcalería tranquila para tomar algo y platicar. El trato es agradable y el lugar también. Hay gran variedad de mezcales, cócteles y cervezas artesanales. También hay botanas para acompañar las bebidas. Es un lugar pequeño pero recomendable. Aceptan tarjeta de crédito.
A quiet mezcalería to have a drink and talk. The treatment is nice and so is the place. There is a wide variety of mezcals, cocktails and craft beers. There are also snacks to accompany the drinks. It is a small but recommended place. They accept credit card.

Rango de precios $$ de $80 en adelante. Encuentras cervezas nacionales, artesanales, coctelería y mezcal. La coctelería superó mis expectativas :)
Además tienen quesos en venta.
La atención y servicio super bien!
Aceptan pagos con tarjeta y no cuentan con estacionamiento pero puedes encontrar lugar en calles aledañas.

The attention and service super good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here after lunch on a Tuesday after exploring the pyramid in Chiluba. There were a couple of other folks there including the owner, who couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. He recommended some local Mexican craft beers and mezcal for us (all of them were amazing!) and made conversation with us in our broken Spanish.
The front area is a bar and they have a grocery in the back. They’ve got light bites and are primarily focused on mezcal. They also take credit card.
Highly recommended and a highlight of our trip to Puebla!
