★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is very fake. Fake flowers, fake tree, fake Italian kitchen. Seems to be at the orthodox cemetery with all these fake flowers inside and outside. Aperol spritz was almost transparent might be with a 10 ml of Aperol. Bruschetta had a piece of bread from supermarket 7 cm high full of dandelion leaves and flowers, tasteless burrata with a flower inside and the most important detail of the dish is one slice of very cold and bad quality prosciutto from the fridge with the taste and the smell of the fridge. And balsamic vinegar is fashion from 1990th. A great disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the nicest experiences I've had in a restaurant in Playa. The restaurant is very beautiful with a huge flowering cherry blossom tree in the middle ( not real , but looks it) . The service was quick and friendly. The margaritas were large , well made and only 90pesos! All the food was superb. It's located across the highway from Centro Maya , so not central, but well worth the trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this place purely because it was close to our lodging in Playacar. After spending such a hot and humid day, we deserved some lovely food and beautiful surroundings. Casa Rivieras did just the thing. We were welcomed by the staff, then treated to extra food (tuna croquettes and rolls) while waiting for the food. We drink some mezcal and the presentation was beautiful.
Seafood risotto with calamari ink was delicious as expected. Cordon bleu was superb with very beautiful display of vegetables as well. For all that food and drinks the total bill was $34. Even in Mexico standard this was a good deal in a beautiful restaurant like this. Highly recommended!!
