About Casa Sauza
Verdadero pionero, Don Cenobio Sauza es conocido por desempeñar un papel integral en la creación del tequila.
En el año de 1873 consolidó su porvenir y levantó los firmes cimientos de la industria tequilera que, según su visión y propósito, debería tener una larga y fructífera existencia.
Y así la ciudad de Tequila, Jalisco, se consolidó como la cuna de la bebida nacional de México -antiguamente llamado vino mezcal- que más tarde sería nombrado tequila, gracias a hombres visionarios y pioneros como lo fue nuestro fundador.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tour and walking in the agave fields was a highlight. Our tour guide Marisol was great. My wife and I were the only English speakers on the tour and she made sure to give us the English translation (her English was very good). And the tequila was great. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t visit here, such a shambles! Their website says they do a daily tour at 1pm bilingual in English and Spanish- which is not the case. They also didn’t have the transport available to transport to the fields, so they were only offering half a tour! Update your website!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been here many times and the place was always awesome. Full of history, great modern food but also traditional dishes. I would recommend birria and pozole. The chef even recommended us pairing of cocktails with our dishes. Definitely a highlight!
The shop offers excellent tequila for a great price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casa is beautiful, the tequila tour is good and worth every penny, they take you to the agave field and show you the process, after that you take a tequila tasting class (get ready to lesvw drunk) and you make tour own cantaritos! Local shop is cheap, tequila is super cheap!
