I truly enjoyed my stay here ! The hostel is very beautiful, the rooms are spacious, the common room is super cozy and is a very nice place to work from. The rooftop offers a great view and a nice area to relax and meet other people after a busy day ! All good, all 5 stars ! And forgot to talk about the amazing feeling of waking up every morning for a delicious breakfast at home !

Owned by the sweetest lady, big breakfast that changes every day, lovely room with lots of light, nothing bad to say about our stay here. Definitely recommend it and would come again.

Best Hostel in San Cristobal! Super clean, the friendliest staff and the two course breakfast ist absolutely wonderful! It is included in the price, you get offered a different traditional mexican dish every day. I‘ll definitely come back if I can!

I don't know where to start. Everything is AMAZING; we felt so lucky to stumble upon this place via booking.com 12 hours upon arriving during the week of Semana Santa. The owner, Esperanza, is one of the sweetest hosts of life. She is so kind, patient, and helpful... you wish she was your own mother! I miss her!! Her husband, Jorge, prepares the most delicious breakfasts (included and served in the gorgeous courtyard, with really tasty vegan options) that have you constantly looking forward to the next day :) The homemade fruit marmeladas are heavenly - you can buy a jar to take home with you! The rest of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well. We're super grateful for them accommodating us with so much care and kindness. We found the location to be excellent. Quiet, safe, well lit neighborhood still within 15 minutes walk of most things around downtown. The rooftop has a stunning 360 degree view of the city - a great place to visit at all hours of the day. During a 7 night stay, I slept in 4 different rooms (due to our poor planning not the b&b). They're all super clean, cozy, and have their own charm. Lovely lounge where you can practice yoga, watch a movie, play a game, or journal. Plenty of communal bathrooms and showers available on-site as well. It's truly a gem of a place thanks to Esperanza's family and team. I hope to return sooner than later!

A super beautiful place with a really friendly staff. I started to feel at home quickly and extended my stay. The rooms are cozy, big and have daylight. The garden and the whole place in general is well taken care off. And the breakfast is beyond expectations. I feel like in a five star hotel every morning, when the breakfast is served at the beautiful outdoor area with the sun shining on me. I will for sure return to Casa Tequio, when coming back to San Cristobal.

What a lovely place ! Could not believe it when I first walked in to their courtyard, thought I was in an upmarket hotel. Owner was a joy, and the staff equally polite and helpful. Breakfast felt I was being served in a 5 star hotel. Excellent food and service Sometimes it's hard to wonder how they maintain such high quality for the work involved, I highly recommend this hostal, and I met some wonderful people there too! A wonderful and friendly place. Everyone is very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast is very good. I stayed 6 nights in a big private room (for 3 or 4 people) that was very nice and well equipped. Well equipped common kitchen. The location is also great. I would love to come back
