Casablanca Sayulita Hotel - 63734 Sayulita

The area the hotel is in is fantastic. Just north and a short walk to downtown but much quieter. The rooms were great. Staff is crazy friendly. The reason 4 star instead of 5 is one of the reasons we booked this place is the cool pool that overhangs the beach and looks like a great area. We found out, and this wasn't clear on the website, that it is only for a private room in front and the "public" pool was behind it and totally in the shade so we spent no time at the pool.

We found the Casablanca to be a wonderful choice for a stay. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating and low key. Our room was clean and inviting, the pool is gorgeous, it's right across the street from a great little coffee place and it's on the ocean. Tucked off the road, it feels quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of a growing Sayulita. Highly recommended

We totally loved Hotel Casablanca. The location is easily walkable to all the town amenities and is just off the best part of the north side beach in a grove of palm trees. The pool is private and secluded. The suite was adorable with 2 balconies, a fully stocked kitchen, ceiling fan, AC in the bedroom and felt like a treehouse (it is a 3rd story suite). The service was fantastic-the housekeeper even folded our clothes! I'm considering working in Sayulita for a month this fall and will likely stay here. Absolutely a 5 Star experience.

My husband and I loved our two weeks at Hotel Casablanca in Sayulita. We had a third floor suite overlooking the pool which was bright, airy and comfortable. We loved being so close to the beach, with loungers and umbrellas, and the grounds and poolside were lush with tropical gardens. The hotel staff were really friendly and accommodating, and we felt well looked after on the property. The hotel is located on the north side of town, which is close enough to walk to everything that you could need, but far away from the square and the noise of town. We have been going regularly to Sayulita for 10 years, and we love that this part of town is really growing and there are some terrific food, cafe and cocktail options very close by. The beach in front of the hotel is perfect for morning walks, and fairly quiet (but still interesting) during the day. We had to chose our days that it was safe to swim in the ocean, because it is a fairly open stretch here and for half of our trip it was too rough to swim. Fortunately, the pool was really great for cooling down mid day. In our suite the bedroom was a nice size, and the mattress was comfortable. Most of the furniture in the apartment is formed out of concrete, which is typical for this type of hotel in Mexico. Perhaps my only complaint is that the patio furniture while cute and rustic, isn’t very comfortable so we didn’t spend a lot of time on our two small patios in the suite. We have stayed in rentals all over Sayulita (this was our 8th trip) but location of this hotel, and also the friendly and accessible the staff are make Hotel Casablanca a place that we want to return to, hopefully sometime soon.

We enjoyed everything about Casablanca. I had to reschedule our trip by 7 months and they were very accommodating and communicated well through the process. The biggest attraction for this property is the location - right on the quieter North Beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas for the occupants to use. It was an easy 5-10 minute walk on the street to the center of town, or a pretty 15 minute walk along the beach. We felt safe walking even when we returned from town center after dark. We rented a golf cart one day so we could see more of the town and there was parking and plug ins available at the hotel. There are a few restaurants, coffee shops and beach bars in near proximity so going to the more crowded areas wasn't necessary. Yoga was offered at the Rose Room directly across the street. The pool was clean and a nice way to cool off; the ocean was fairly rough during our stay. The room was cleaned daily and was comfortable. We were in A5 which was on the top floor facing the pool, it had a peek view towards the ocean and I enjoyed listening to the waves through the night. Our room had AC but with the terrace doors open we didn't need it. Drinking water was provided for every room which was greatly appreciated. I recommend Casablanca Hotel for the laid back traveler looking for a relaxing place to stay. I often don't go to the same place twice in my travels, but Casablanca and Sayulita will be an exception to that!

We stayed at Casablanca for two weeks while attending a wedding. Our friends stayed at a variety of hotels on the north end that were a similar price and we (and all our fiends) agreed Casablanca was by far the highest quality. The pool was so clean and being able to walk just steps to the beach was amazing. The beach is cleaner on the north end and there is less noise. They provide filtered water on each floor outside the rooms which was a huge plus. I loved laying by the pool watching the birds - we even saw an iguana! The staff are what make this place so special. They go above and beyond when it comes to service, especially the housekeeping staff - SO much sand to deal with! The security is great too and we never worried about anything safety wise. We loved our stay so much we booked the main house for a family reunion and we're counting down the days until we get to return. The wifi is spotty but does work pretty good by the pool and we were able to do video calls there.

We stayed in the private Casablanca Beachfront House, which was exquisite-just as described, very spacious open living areas with amenities to spare. Perfect location, just far enough from the busy town center of Sayulita, yet still walking distance. The house is completely setup to cook all of your own meals or just walk down to beach to some great local bars & restaurants. Everything was perfect upon arrival and the Casablanca staff was very attentive & helpful. The front desk staff recommended places to shop, dine & activities, the daily cleaning team was impeccable and the night security put us at complete ease. This service was over the top, more than we have ever experienced before from a vacation rental. The Casablanca House is truly paradise. We can't wait to return & make more great memories! I thoroughly enjoyed my week at the Casablanca Sayulita. The pool is clean and inviting, the landscaping is lush and well tended, the jacuzzi has a beautiful view, and the rooms are just right. My favorite reason to stay at this hotel, though, is the beach access. So easy to walk down the steps to the lounge chairs and umbrellas. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Truly: I loved our stay!
