What is Owner-Centric™?
It started with the simple idea that the owner’s best interest should always be our main focus, and it has grown to become our passion and the guiding principle behind everything we do and stand for. Each of our team members is trained to see themselves first and foremost as the owner’s advocate, and to make every decision from this singular mindset.
Upon completion of their initial training, each Casago team member takes an oath to be the steward of the properties they serve and to care for each of the specific needs of our high-end vacation homeowners. Whether you’re looking for revenue-producing vacation rental services, long-term home care management, corporate housing, or cleanings, our Owner-Centric™ philosophy delivers the care, income, and transparency that you deserve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They emailed me after our stay to ask if I had left my glasses there. (Very cool I thought) we emailed back and said yes, in fact, we had and would have someone come by. When we arrived to get them. We were told that someone had taken them home thinking they belonged to her niece...? So, basically, my $300 prescription reading glasses were stolen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On my three most recent trips to San Carlos I have used Seaside Reservations for all three of my stays. Everyone has been super nice and friendly and gave great tips on places to eat seafood. The properties we've stayed in were well maintained, clean and had great views. If you've never been to San Carlos, do yourself a favor and make the trip now! I've been coming here since the 80's and it's always been amazing. The waters are clear and calm, the sand on the beach is so soft, like cotton, the views are just beyond incredible and the locals and tourist are all super friendly. Let's raise a glass and have another round! Cheers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple no hassle booking and our condo exceeded expectations. The staff were attentive to our needs and the manager followed up with an email after our stay asking if we enjoyed ourselves and if there was anything they needed to work on. Highly recommend Seaside and already booked another vacation through them this summer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a review for what was suppose to be Mareazul unit 106 S which we booked through FlipKey but is managed by Seaside.
It’s easy to provide good service when everything goes according to plan. A true test of quality is when something goes wrong, and in our case, something did, and the owner/agent fell flat on his face.
We chose this place because we wanted to be able to watch our kids play on the beach from the patio. We paid for our entire reservation in advance. Upon arrival at 8:30 pm, we were given the keys to unit 401. I did not have the unit number or property map memorized and did not immediately think anything of the difference in unit number. After walking into 401, I realized that it was obviously not “ocean front.” So I return to reception to inform them that they put us in the wrong unit, at which point, I was informed that I needed to speak to the owner/agent to get that corrected. So I called the agent and he informed me that there was a “problem” with the beachfront unit and that he had to reassign us to another unit. He said “the entire property is ocean front” to which I replied, “you understand” it's not the same. He said yes he did and that he would call us in the morning to discuss what discount he would offer us. It was late, raining hard, family’s tired, so I agreed. By 11 AM the next day, not a peep from the owner/agent, so we call FlipKey. By this time, FlipKey informed us that the deadline had passed to get a refund. Wow!!! Less than 24 hrs. This was clearly the reason for the agent's delay. A total con job. We got duped!
Later that day, I get an email from the agent saying he wants to come by and negotiate a discount. Well, we’re on vacation. We have plans. We don’t really have time to waste on waiting for him to show up, especially given his history of poor accountability. So i replied and simply asked him what kind of discount did he have in mind. He had the nerve to offered us a pathetic 10% discount. 10% ?!?!?! We did not accept it and decided to write this review instead.
The original unit we paid for was pictured right on the white-sand beach facing the Caribbean Sea. It looked amazing. The unit we ended up with had no view and was a long walk to the beach. There was no way it would ever rent for only 10% less than a beachfront condo. PLUS, there were fewer beds than advertised and some of us had to squeeze onto the couch in the living room. None of that would matter if we weren’t duped into paying over $500/night for the advertised condo.
And what was the real “problem” with the original 106S unit we paid for, you might ask? We walked by it during our stay and saw a bunch of people having a party on the patio. An honest rental agent/owner who had mistakenly double-booked would have either offered us a better unit or a 30%+ discount for the huge downgrade.
Mareazul is a nice development with decent amenities. It is mostly owner-occupied, though. The problem is not the development per se, but the people who rent out some of the units. This particular owner was dishonest and the resort has zero interest in making sure that short-term renters are satisfied because they are not a real source of income for the resort.
Bottom line: Pure bait and switch. No notification of change prior to arrival tells me that he intended to cheat us all along. If you want to be at mercy of an unscrupulous owner/agent, not knowing if what you are seeing and paying for is what you’re going to get when you arrive after traveling for the whole day with kids in tow, then this might be for you.
Photos show view from patio. No beach.
