★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, classic Merida building. However, expensive for the duration of the tour and how much of the house you get to see.
Highlights:
* Great place for photos, the visitor gets a glimpse into how life was in Merida many years ago (very well preserved house).
Lowlights:
* Short: you are only allowed to see around 5 rooms in the house.
Additionally, this is anecdotal but our tour guide was bad. Rushed the group through the rooms, and if someone wanted to admire a specific piece the guide interrupted them and hurried them along.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was great to enter the house and see a piecd of history. It is unfortunate that the upper floors have not been restored, but hopefully in the future. Our English speaking guide did not speak English well, but he was knowledgeable.
