★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rancho San Lorenzo still doesn't have electricity so if you want to watch TV stay away, but if you're into hiking, climbing, canyoneering, birding, or Tarahumaran culture this is the place. Be prepared for spartan accommodations, but good food cooked the Sierra Madre way, and friendly people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice park and make sure you park where the water falls off the cliff if you are planning on walking down to the bottom cause it's a much longer walk if you park where you can see the falls from a distance

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the many wonders of the Sierra Madre. The trail to the falls has been much improved. The hike to the base of the falls really is worth it although the trail is in poor condition. The parking lot at the main trailhead has food stands that offer good food and snacks. Remember to bring water on your hike. The wall on the right side of the falls (looking out) has several climbing routes. Try to spot the belay station webbing...
