★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El camino es complicado para los principiantes, el GPS da instrucciones incorrectas y solo pude llegar gracias a la gente que encontré al llegar al pueblo
The hike is not easy for beginners so you better be ready to take some breaks on the way up. The signs say It's only available for public during weekends but there is no lock or anything to keep people from coming in. GPS gives incorrect instructions, locals are your best guide as everything is poorly signalized

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cascada de Huaxtla is where I did my life’s first hiking. It was a random plan by a friend and some of his friend and he invited me to join them. I must say it’s a beautiful and calm place. There’s a place to park the car and in the entrance you just need to pay 50 pesos per person as a entrance fee. There are 7 different cascada’s, that day we’ve tried 2. They both are beautiful. To reach to the cascada the hiking was kinda challenging. As it was my first time I did face some difficulties. The view was beautiful. Don’t forget to carry a bottle of water, bathing suite, towel and some snacks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hike, it’s a must go and it’s not that tough of a hike. There are actually a couple of waterfalls and you can find some cool little surprises along the way. Don’t forget to bring a towel, bathing suit, water, snacks, and to put on some sunscreen!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So basically at the entry you have the free parking but the entrance cost 50 pesos. It is a walk of 30-45 to reach to the cascada and it’s beautiful. There are small and big 7 cascadas on the way. 2 of them are nice and you can swim. They are dip and has places to jump from different height. It’s a very good hike and swim combination. You need to carry sufficient about of water and electrolytes as there is no store or any thing nears to the cascada. Pets are allowed to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really well managed.
Entry price cost $50 pesos per person. That includes entry and parking. They also have bathrooms, life jacket rentals, and good for sale. The waterfalls are really nice. Swimming is great.
