Came here to see the cascade, and it was so beautiful. Location is very private and rural.

I take visitors here because there's a lovely mountain-side bus trip to Boca de Tomatlan, the last stop for the Orange Bus, a 200 peso RT Water Taxi to Yelapa, and a moderately easy hike. The path through the jungle is cobblestone. The waterfall is spectacular, and if you start the trip early, you might beat the crowds. Back at the beach, there's pleasant restaurants. The famous Pie Lady will likely stroll by, and and the slices are memorable. The return water taxis depart on the even numbered hours.

It's a long and difficult walk to get there! Nice place to visit though. Take a 4 wheeler to save time, it's worth the cost.

Lovely waterfall in a beautiful picturesque town. Words won't do the experience justice. It is worth the boat ride!

Its a little hike up to the falls through the beautiful streeps of Yelapa. You can also pay someone to give you a ride on an ATV to the falls. There you can find drinks and bathrooms and, if you wish, swim in the falls! It is beautiful and worth the trip.

Took a round trip water taxi from Boca de Tomatlan for $6. (We used Uber to get there and purchased round trip, Brenda, our driver was waiting for us when we got back) There are only 4 water taxis back to Boca. 3:30 and then hourly until 6:30) There are vendors all the way to the waterfall (a short walk). Great prices and unique items. Took the advice from my Botanical Garden guide to experience this adventure. Smart move. Take the water taxi to the second Yelapa dock. Then get the ATV back to the beach and restaurants to get a good spot. That’s a review in itself. This is a must go when in puerto Vallarta.

Very beautiful spot.close to the village with a bar cafe at the falls. You can swim under the falls to cool off.

The waterfall is small and the water is shallow. I do NOT recommend taking the horse or ATV if you are able bodied. A lot to see on the way up and down. Shops, food and drinks along the way. Enjoy!
