It is a natural beauty that is worth visiting, go with family or friends. To get to the town it takes approximately 2 hours, when you arrive there is a space where you can park your car (tourists) and the cost to enter is $10 per person, then you walk 20 or 30 minutes to get to the river (I recommend not taking a lot of things as there are slippery parts) there are children who offer to accompany you. There are no palapitas or tables, so be prepared. It is important that people return their garbage, since there is a lot of it on the trails or around the river and it is everyone's responsibility to maintain our natural areas.

The place is a beauty, it is definitely worth all the dirt road you have to go through to get here and the walk you have to do (maximum 20 min). The place is very quiet and very few people come, so basically you will have it to yourself. You can bring food and drinks, but PLEASE take your trash with you. That's the bad thing about the place, people leave their trash all over the place and when it piles up it is obviously horrible to me. If you bring a car, you can leave it near the basketball court that is in the very town and from there start the walk. When it is low season they do not charge the entrance. The villagers are making a new route to walk and get to the waterfall, they are really looking forward to it. It is said that the place is part of the El Ocote jungle, so please take good care of it. It is recommended to go in the season that is not rainy.

A very beautiful place, you are in contact with nature, and the people are very friendly, when you get to the community dome, there are grocery stores, and they sell the Internet. Today I went and unfortunately they told us that yesterday it rained all night, the road is not ugly, since they told us that when it rains like this, the same rain cleans the road, however the river water was cloudy due to the rains, we still had a great time!

A place they must know. If you come from Tuxtla, take the road that takes you to the Chiapas bridge, pass the booth and about 15 minutes you find the deviation to Doctor Manuel Velasco Suárez 2. It is a stretch of about 10 minutes paved and after another 25 minutes on dirt, any car arrives without problems. When you get there you can leave the car in the multipurpose court, there are people who can guide you. If you want to buy something, you must do it in that town, because in the waterfalls there is no one who sells anything. The walk is approximately 15 minutes. The water is cold, and there are areas where you can swim at ease. In general, it is not very deep. If you want to walk a bit more, you can go to where the water is born, it takes you another 15 minutes, but it's worth it. Ask for Jeimy a good local guide, he is very friendly. It is a place still little known, and it is kept in good condition. If you go, please don't throw garbage, and let's help conserve those natural places. Just as one more piece of information, before reaching the large waterfalls there are some small waterfalls and a quiet, shallow and wide river to be able to swim safely if you have small children and people who cannot walk much, otherwise it is on the edge of the road and very easy to access.

The waterfalls are incredible, you can swim there, the water is cold, ideal for the heat there, there is a stretch of dirt road and on the way there is the French River where you can also swim, you must bring your food because there is nothing more than a little shop where you find soft drinks and very basic things

The waterfalls are beautiful but it is not very accessible to get there, it is good to go on an adventure. You cross the community and then a suspension bridge. You pay $20 pesos per person and there is a parking space. But to go to the waterfalls you walk approximately 20 minutes. During the course there is a lot of dust, so close the windows of your car if you do not want to get breaded.

It is a very nice place. We were not charged any admission. When we arrived at the field where the things are kept, some children offered to be a guide and took us. It is very close to where the cars are left and it is safe. The waterfall is wonderful and the river impressive. A very nice place.
