★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La cascada de Micoxtla fué explorada por primera vez por Carlos Giot y Agustin Jacome en Diciembre de 2017. Presenta una caida de 80 metros y para su descenso se empleó una cuerda de 100 metros. Sus aguas provienen del lado NE del volcán Nahucampatepetl (cofre de Perote) y es el afluente principal del rio Huehueyapan.
The Micoxtla waterfall was explored for the first time by Carlos Giot and Agustin Jacome in December 2017. It has a drop of 80 meters and a 100-meter rope was used for its descent. Its waters come from the NE side of the Nahucampatepetl volcano (Perote's chest) and it is the main tributary of the Huehueyapan river.
