Posteriormente estuvo abandonado algún tiempo y hoy se le ha restaurado para devolverle parte de su antigua vida

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tienen libros que son difíciles de encontrar en otras librerías. Sin embargo, su surtido en general se queda corto, además de tener una atención al cliente regular. Se nota que es una librería del estado. Nadie se empeña en dar un buen servicio, la librería está escondida y sin anuncios que te hagan saber que existe, no hay nada que te invite a entrar o te haga entender que dentro de ese enorme edificio hay una librería. Por detalles como esos la cultura en el país está como está, no hay interés de parte de los funcionarios públicos en hacer funcionales y autosuficientes los establecimientos del estado. Da la impresión de que esa librería no gana, sino que pierde dinero. Dos estrellas solo porque he encontrado dos o tres libros que en el resto de Culiacán no se encuentran.
They have books that are hard to find in other bookstores. However, its assortment in general falls short, in addition to having a regular customer service. It notes that it is a state library. It gives the impression that this library does not win, but loses money. Two stars only because I found two or three books that are not found in the rest of Culiacan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hace poco asistí a un concierto de una banda local en este casino de la cultura de de la capital. Me pareció que es un centro cultural para eventos amplio, ya que cuenta con dos pisos y una arquitectura moderna; yo solo había ido a la librería que es pequeña (parte de abajo) pero cuenta con buenas piezas de libros vale la pena asistir a eventos que promueven nuestro acervo.
I recently attended a concert of a local band in this casino of the culture of the capital. I thought it is a cultural center for events, as it has two floors and a modern architecture; I had only gone to the bookstore that is small (bottom part) but has good pieces of books worth attending events that promote our collection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un buen lugar en el Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de Culiacán, para organizar encuentros de grupos afines a la cultura. Cuenta con varias secciones de interés general como la biblioteca y un amplio auditorio. Sus servicios sanitarios están presentables y limpios. No cuenta con estacionamiento exclusivo. La atención de sus empleados es de calidad. Los servicios que aquí se prestan son subsidiados por el Gobierno del Estado. Por lo que algunos servicios son gratuitos o cuotas accesibles al público.
It is a good place in the Historic Center of the City of Culiacán, to organize meetings of groups related to culture. It has several sections of general interest such as the library and a large auditorium. Its restrooms are presentable and clean. It does not have exclusive parking. The attention of its employees is of quality. The services provided here are subsidized by the State Government. So some services are free or fees accessible to the public.
