★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Weird system to play slots. First you stand in line to get a players card. Then you take the card to another line. Once it's your turn again you prepay how much you want to spend. I tried 500 pesos to start and the machines took it in less than 5 minutes. I wouldn't recommend giving your money away as foolishly as I did. :(

-High taxes
-Many Machines have broken touch screens.
-The staff offer you coke or water and return one hour later with your drink.
-This is the type of place where you will win a lot then loose a lot of money and chases your looses into a hole. Beware. Avoid. There are other places with better playback.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ flat out the best casino so far out of the 25+ I have been to in Mexico. Open 24/7. Table games and machines, live bingo and music. Good food, decent service. Great selection of slots and tons of bingo options as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Near several well-known hotel chains. This 24 hour casino is tied to a shopping mall and has loads of slot machines, food, cigarettes with a complete bar. They are compliant with the federal COVID-19 protocol, have sufficient security staff and friendly waiting staff. Without mentioning, the property was super clean with tons of parking at the front. We came from a nearby lodge with only US dollars on us. For some reason, we failed to locate an ATM. So the waitress took our order and arranged our invoice for payment by credit/debit with a valid passport or driver's license. A great place to try your luck if you're on an overnight layover or a driving rest stop while in Merida.
