Excelente lugar para descansar y relajarse con tu pareja. La vista muy hermosa, lo recomiendo ampliamente. ?

L’endroit est magnifique! J’ai bien aimé le quai, la petite plage pour nager, la vue sur ma chambre qui m’a semblé confortable et propre, et la terrasse du 2ème étage! Ils ont des kayaks sur place mais il faut les réserver à la réception à l’arrivé pour garantir la disponibilité. Très sympa le service aussi.

El lugar es tranquilo con puerto a la laguna y las recamaras amplias, pero por el precio esperas que esté en mejores condiciones. Le falta mantenimiento en general.

El muelle está muy bonito y el personal es amable. Hay detalles que dejan qué desear, por el costo de la habitación debería haber más atención a los detalles de limpieza, no de la habitación, sino de las áreas comunes, nos llevamos algunas sorpresas. Es un buen lugar si no encuentras espacio en algún otro.

Very nice view, didn't have time to stay there because of some problems they had, recommended because of the view they have to the lagoon.

Beautiful view. Hotel is in good condition Not to far from the main plaza Leon, registration officer was a great help, very polite. No one clean our room in two days.

My phone got stolen from our locked room while we had lunch. The owner promised to compensate with the refund of our 3 nights stay. It was 2 months ago and didn't receive anything back. No answer to our messages anymore.

We were booked for one night, but as our travel plans changed we were arriving in Bacalar one night earlier. I called the same morning asking to extend our booking. I saw on booking that they had avalible rooms for 67$ per night (our original booking was 75$). But as we already had a booking and also were arriving late at night after check in, we called just to be sure that it would be ok with late check in and to have the same room for two nights. I mentioned that I saw the rooms on booking, but we were told they could assist us over phone so we booked during the call. Arriving at the hotel they said we had to pay 2000 pesos/100usd for the room. I questioned it as booking was way cheaper for the same day (ofc we could have booked there directly but as mentioned we called to extend the already existing booking) and at least we expected the same rate as the one we had - when it was even cheaper online now - and the fact that they didnt mention anything about another rate over the phone. The answer was ”it’s a fixed rate for walk in Bookings, the reception prices are fixed”. First of all, this place is far on the edge of town so not really walk in. And second, being that we called earlier and were extending a current booking, the way of handling this from the hotel is super unprofessional not informing us about this ”fixed rate”. I argued but the man in the reception only spoke spanish and we wouldnt have a room for the night if we didnt pay. The next day when I questioned this again (using whatsapp as it was the same man in reception) I got the reply that they were sorry about ”lack of communication and misunderstanding” but they were absolutely not willing to solve the situation or get the price fixed. I messaged multiple times. It really bothers me because it was 100% an easy way for them to take advantage and make some extra cash. I would have understood if the rate was up for last minute or something but being that it was even less online now then when we originally booked. I read in the coments that they make people pay 300 pesos per person just to stay on the property after check out so obviously they care more about some extra dollars then good reviews. Not service minded at all. The money aside, I wouldnt recomend anyone staying here anyways because it was not an ideal location (too far from town), the property is very old and there is mold in the bathroom (the smell hits like a wall when walking in), honestly not worth the price at all even though its right on the lagoon which was very nice.
