★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel, very well located but the service was average, staff is not very nice. There is absolutely no food or drinks to buy at any time inside the hotel, only water.
Last day of the stay there was no hot water in the hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our room was modern, clean and the staff was really friendly. We were able to check in early since we arrived about an hour early. We had an option to pay before or after our stay. Our room was cleaned daily and they even folded extra towels into animal shapes and put fresh flowers onto our bed! The tv worked fine and had channels to watch. The patio with the pool was a nice touch that was in our room. The pool on the hotel grounds lit up various colors at night and it was an open area so you could enjoy the sun or the stars. They called the taxi if we needed them to. There was someone always in the lobby so you felt safe. The location was convenient so we were able to walk to the cathedral, plaza, restaurants, and the most amazing gelato shop you'll ever have is around the corner. There's a bar with dancing and live music not too far. All within walking distance. When we come back, we are staying here again. I can't find any cons with this hotel or the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty decor and room... Nice and kind welcome. But in comparison to others the space was very dim and lacking charm. Rooms are nice and clean but feel dark and have bad lighting. No view... Ours was lobby level and felt like a basement. The shower is a mystery... Great hot water and water pressure but the top head doesn't work, and staff couldn't get it to work. The hand held wall fixture is installed in the wall with the water spraying directly in your face. Very awkward and uncomfortable (and a little painful) way to get clean. The floors are beautiful and looked clean but when wiping up some water that spilled, we also wiped up a lot of black. So maybe not mopped? Closet is ample and clean but the top rung to hang dresses was about 6.5 feet high... Not thoughtfully designed. And the number listed sends you to the automated hotel chain headquarter maze. Never could reach front desk with the parking issues from the lot.
But most importantly... DO NOT buy the included breakfast. Flavorless pastries, yogurt and coffee and oj from concentrate. Felt almost disrespectful to try so little in one of the best culinary cities in Mexico. There are much better places to eat in MERIDA and it was a waste. Parking very tough in neighborhood and we were directed to park in a lot off site for 100 pesos a day. There were no spots and apparently no rules. The staff did not know how best to answer our questions. One staff member Daniel went out of his way and was very helpful to work with us. Otherwise hospitality a little lacking here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is super clean and modern. The shower has plenty of hot water. A cute pool. Very quiet. I'm the morning they make coffee, bring out fruit and Mexican pastries.
