m	manny maker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only stayed 1 night but it was very nice. Very quiet and very close to the beach. The person who greets you is very nice, the place is clean and it has AC. Excellent value for the price.
J	Jason WD on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of those gems that I jealously don't really want to review because it is such a gem, but it is truly a remarkable paradise on the beach. We were lucky to stay in three different rooms as we moved around the area a lot and they are all charming, cosy and clean. There is everything from a small room with a double bed to a private room with space for 6 and even a tower room with a view over the trees. If you go you will be warmly greeted and either welcomed to chat during your encounters with others or left to the peace of reading a book in a hammock. I was surprised at first not to have hot water, but this soon became moot as the weather in Zipolite is so warm it is unnecessary.

So close to Playa Amor ; ir you're planning to spend most of your time here, it's a good option as it's easy to get back to (unlike other properties on the beach) Only small gripes are - toilet and bathroom are separated (if you choose the shared bathroom option) so if someone is in the shower you can't wash your hands easily. And you have to go downstairs to use them. Lots of space to hang out and lounge in hammocks, work on a big table downstairs, it feels like staying in a treehouse. Cute cats and dawgs!
H	Harvey Koffman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent 5 days, first in the suite and then in the tower. The suite is much larger, but in the tower you are open to the treetops. Location is at the Playa del Amor end of the beach, much quieter, but still only a few minute walk to restaurants. Corina is a gracious and helpful host who makes everyone welcome. It's very quiet at night and the temperature drops enough to make sleeping comfortable. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing view, a little place to chill and a lot of privacy. The owner is really nice, she will make sure that you can enjoy your time here. :) You can also do a bit of surfing at the beach if you want. Be aware that the closest beach at this place is a bit of a nudists beach - which can be a bit of a shocker/laugh if you don't expect it. ;)

It was incredibly close to the beach and the property itself was a uniquely leafy haven from the heat of the day. Corina was very welcoming and it is obvious that she puts much thought and effort into ensuring her guests have the best possible experience. The tower room was excellent, though we stayed in two others as well and can easily declare them all to be clean, quirky, and comfortable for the very reasonable price charged.

Corrina, the owner/manager is the finest of hosts and has a vast knowledge of the area, all it has to offer, and an eagerness to make your stay the absolute best. If you are looking for the all night beach party, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a very relaxed, very clean, secure, and inviting atmosphere then you should stay at Castillo Oasis. It feels more like a comfortable home with friends than anything else. This hotel is located close to both the main beach, Playa Zipolite, and the smaller, more romantic, Playa Del Amor. And if you do like the party atmosphere at your leisure, those places are about a 15 minute walk up the beach. I have nothing negative to say about my stay at Castillo Oasis. It's a wonderful place and I can't wait to return.

I just love the ambiance and the room décors it’s lovely (crystals, sea shells etc in the walls) Corrina is also a great host! She was very helpful and lovely. We really enjoyed our short stay here. There is a safe so you can put your important belongings stored safely. Although the room was clean and well maintained, our bathroom had a foul smell and did not feel the cleanest. That’s why I am not putting a 5 stars.
