★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was looking for place with courtyard to have nice dinner and went here. The courtyard is not very big but is nice and cozy. Enjoyed the food and drinks. Desert was the best and must try. It was 6 types of oaxacan sorbets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for our last dinner in Oaxaca, the desert was worth it, so was the dinner, steak, but that desert! The staff were very helpful as mi español is malo! Historical spot as well. Would definitely come back, a beautiful setting as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an upscale restaurant with upscale prices. You want see any locals dining there. Gringos or other foreigners can be seen there as well as white Mexican. The reason I went there because it was labeled buy Google as a restaurant providing excellent Oaxacan food. I didn't see any traditional dishes with the exception of mole plates. I ordered yellow mole with ribs and it resembled more of regular stew souse rather than Mexican mole i am used to but i am not an expert. The mole and the ribs were delicious. Potatoes they served were not fully cooked, and when I mentioned that to a waiter, he just ignored my comments and said sorry after i paid my bill. I expect more from a restaurant that charges 480MXN for a dish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice restaurant near the cathedral in city center area.the small breads are warm and fragrant. Came with mole sauce.. I ordered Chichilo mole with short rib. Come with fried potato,green bean and choyote with slightly tart bitter mole sauce. We didn't try the desert. There is also live music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice environment. Live music wasn't too loud for us and we really enjoyed it. Portions are large so you may not need an app and entree like I foolishly did if you've been eating all day. I could not eat it all though I wanted to. Shrimp & scallop ceviche is ughmazing!!! Best service we had in Oaxaca. Overall a very nice experience and maybe our best restaurant. Cheers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! This place is what Oaxaca is all about! Impeccable service with amazing food and drinks! Cricket app was fun but the black mole was so rich with such complex flavors! Our server suggested a great cocktail to pair with the mole. Live music and slow food. What more could you ask for? Gracias for the great experience!
