¡Excelente pregunta! "Definitivamente sí. Estos aparatos se les conoce como "retenedores y sirven para evitar que tus dientes vuelvan a enchuecarse después de haber retirado tus brackets"

Los retenedores pueden ser fijos o removibles. Esta decisión la tomará tu ortodoncista al finalizar tu tratamiento con base al grado de malposición dental que presentes, así como otros criterios que en su momento te los hará saber.

El tiempo que debes usar tus aparatos de retención es: Indefinido; pero no te preocupes, ya que en caso de que tengas que usar retenedores removibles, estos pueden ser usados sólo por las noches cuando te vayas a dormir.
