★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy for sure. Had the pleasure of eating here graciously hosted by a local. I’d go out of my way to eat here again.
Service was friendly and the portions were ample. I don’t think I had anything I didn’t like. Thankfully I had a native Spanish speaker with me or I would have had a lot of communication problems.
It was really hard to find but it really was a hidden gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is off the path. Small local food in a working class neighborhood. I had Posole with Lengua and their agua fresca maracuyá (passion fruit) is one of the best I ever had. Looking forward to my next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is just amazing. If you are ever in puerto vallarta and want an off the strip home made food, I recommend you make this a must do on your list. The food is a 5 out of 5. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean restaurant. You can tell they care about the people who eat their food. The list below are my favorites but all are close number ones. We ate here 3 out of 6 nights. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Safe Travels!
1. Quesadillas( chicken or beef in red sauce)
2. Sopes (potatoes and ground beef)
3. Enchiladas(beef)
4. Posole (pork)
