It’s a beautiful cenote BUT beware: it is almost impossible to access it if you are not staying in the resort. We had negotiate for half hour before we could get in. Also, all their cenotes are forbidden to swim. Would rather recommend visiting cenote Azul not far from Playacar

NOT PUBLIC (ANY LONGER) If you don't stay with the resort that "owns" this place, they charge $100 USD per person to see this cenote. A complete rip-off. Don't waste your time or money, there are countless other cenotes to be found across the Yucatan peninsula.

Tried to access by car with the route suggested by google maps themselves The ONLY route that we found lead through territory of the resort that did not allow entrance anyhow ? Still curious if there is a way to get in… 1 star is obviously because I have no option “n/a”

Very fun and cool experience it was a hour away from the hotel,it was a couple caves and a nice 10ft jump into the water, you can see the small fish and I recommend to bring goggles so you can see inside and look into the caves,Recommended this place especially for your kids!

It was a disappointment compared to other cenotes I have visited. If you are going here with a rented car, make sure you get a jeep or something that can withstand the pot holes in the roads. The entrance fee is $11US. Not worth it. You can skip this!

Seeing a giant sink hole that you can actually swim in was pretty awsome. It was a 2hr drive from my hotel, but we made stops in between. The served lunch and you can purchase alcohol.

Went to the Sandos Caracol Eco resort with my family and we were delighted with this cenote! We were lucky enough to be able to swim in it with turtles too! Definitely recommend it as this was one of the highlights in our holiday!

Cenote located within the Sandos Caracol resort complex. Free to access if you’re staying at the resort, in 30-minute increments. Hotel provide life jackets, which must be worn. It can definitely feel a little crowded, if there’s more than a few people.
