Incredible Cenote! We arrived one and a half hour before the closing time and we were around 15 people in total. At some point all left and my partner and me were completely alone in this stunning Cenote. It's an off the beaten path Cenote, and totally worth the time you spend to go there. You might like it if you see the photos, but once you are arrive, you will be shock how beautiful it is. The entrance is a "small" hole where you go down the stairs and that's when you find the huge cave with the crystal clear waters. From the wooden stairs, you can actually jump into the water. There are two levels, one is like a meter high to the water level, and the other one might be around 2.5-3 meters high.but don't worry, the water is deep enough. There are toilets in case you need them which you can use them to get changed too. Don't think twice, and go! You won't regret it.

Beautiful Natural Cenote (Sinkhole) in Abala, part of the ring of cenotes area and operated by the local Maya community. They have rustic bathrooms and showers, also provide life jackets included in the price. Please, take a shower before swimming to remove sunscreen, repellent, oils, and all the chemicals in your body for no to pollute the water and, don't touch stalactites! Takes millions of years to form and this is a fragile ecosystem and is mandatory to take care of them!

refreshing cenote, the entrance fee is 60 pesos and the life jacket 20. the restrooms were spacious and clean. recommend to take goggles because water is extra clear and the light comes in beautifully. recommended for refreshing after visiting Uxmal ☺ worth the trip on the dirt road, makes it even more memorable

I went for SCUBA diving in the caves below and it was nice under the water. On the surface of the water, however, the part where everybody swims, is infested with swallows, making it extremely loud and full of bird poop. Once you go down there are lots of caves and interesting geological formations from the cycle of dry and wet seasons. My favorite part was this one cave where all the expelled diver air gets trapped to the ceiling and it makes the optical illusion that there is a room above you. Cenote Yaal Utzil is 5 minutes away and better in my opinion. There's platforms you can jump off of into the water as well.

Clean cenote not too far from Merida. Clean bathrooms and changing rooms, some life jackets available. Shallow areas available for not strong swimmers.

Very cool cenote. Takes a bit of a drive but worth it. 100 pesos per person to park. We got there at 2p on a monday and not too busy but still people there so morning is probably better. Combine it with a trip to hacienda ochil for a perfect half day trip to merida
