Full love this place, lot of knowledge about sustainable Maya construction, wild animals, trees, woods, insects, etc.

Come for the Cenote, stay because the rocky road pops your tire in the middle of the jungle and you are stuck there to be eaten by monkeys and Chupacabras. The girl at the gate was cool and nice. Great Cenote for those that dare...

Large open cenote. It is off the main road with lots of signs about 4km off the road so don't give up and you will eventually make it! Worth the time. You can swim here after a shower

Amazing cenote, secluded and quiet. Getting there on a quad bike was a great start and end.

Exceeds expectations! Very private and off the beaten track, you’d be advised to be sensitive with your rental car. It is off road a little bit but well worth the drive. The Cenote is fabulous. When we visited on April 7, 2022, besides the two staff members, we were the only ones at the park.

Claims to be the largest in the entire state but we hear Riveria Maya is actually the biggest ☺️ Entry is 150-100 pesos maybe depending on time of day. We arrived during rain and there was not much time to see it. Very green and beautiful Long drive to get there from the main road — it was raining so a lot of puddles. Took us about 40 minutes since we drove so carefully

On our way back from Chichen Itza, we felt like having a swim. We followed the signs to Kax Ek from the main road, passing through a couple of small villages. The last sign on a paved road lead us into the jungle through a rough and narrow dirt road. I wouldn’t go in there during a storm unless I had a 4 wheel drive. To be honest, when we entered that 4km dirt road, we were skeptical and really considered turning around. The DIY signs along the way kept our faith going and I’m glad we kept driving. After about 10 or 15 minutes of jungle road, we made it to a small parking lot with a bathroom and a ticket stand. After paying the 150 pesos, we walked for less than a minute into a surprisingly well organized area with a few buildings (one was a store?) and a stone staircase leading down to the water where they’ve built a wooden deck with steps into the water and a diving deck. None of us had been to a cenote before so not much to compare it with but we’re so glad we got to see this one. The views from the top of the stairs as well as from the deck are great. Beautiful scenery with warm water and almost no people. Only a couple of Spaniards were there, swimming. Only thing I didn’t like there was a generator at the top of the stairs, making noise that kinda covered the sound of the jungle.

Was visiting Chichén-Itzá and saw signs for this Cenote and decided to pay it a visit. It is a bit far away from the main road but just follow the signs and you will get there! (and it is worth it!) We parked the car and hired a quad bike to drive the rest of the way as the road is quite rocky and uneven (you could take a car but we didn't want to) which was very fun! The Cenote is so secluded and quiet, there was only one other couple there when we arrived and it was lovely and peaceful. You will see lots of wildlife and if you sit still in the water little fishes will come and nibble at the skin on your feet! Would recommend taking the time to visit. If we have time on our trip we might go back!
