Beautiful. No tour busses. We arrived around 3:30. There were only about 10 people there. Fun, relaxing. Life jackets available, but optional.

GORGEOUS! We went after visiten chichen itza (it was about a 30 minute drive). Only 100 pesos to get it and we had the entire place to outselves. The water is super clear and they had life jackets you could use if you wanted. There are restrooms to change in (the green buildiny across from the cenote), but they are fairly small so be prepared for that.

After hours in the sun at Chichén Itzá we were looking forward to a cool down in a cenote, but didn't want to battle it out with bus loads of tourists. This cenote was just a little out of the way, but well worth the trip! We had the place all to ourselves, with the exception of a few very polite, local kids. The front gate was closed when we arrived, but we spoke with a lady from the museum next door and she sent her daughter to go get someone to open it for us. The cost was 50 pesos per person (which is less than the other cenotes in the area). We were able to park on the street and change in the museum bathrooms. The water was clear, clean and cool and we stayed for as long as we could watching the birds over head and the fish below. The area around the cenote also has wifi, so you can post to your heart's content. The only thing I would caution is that to get down into the cenote itself, you have to climb down a ladder. If you're not physically able to climb up or down a ladder, you may want to enjoy one of the more developed cenotes that have stairs instead.

Locally managed and NOT a tourist trap. We were the only ones there. Life jackets provided for use at no extra cost. Admission 100 pesos. To get there know YOU WILL NOT HAVE CELL SERVICE once you arrive so pay attention to your route so you can get back. It is a bit of a remote trip beyond Chichen itza but a very rural, uncrowded road crowded by vegetation. Once we arrived we were a curiosity to the local kids, they waved and giggled. Cenote was crystal clear with some small black fish. Water temperature in January was pleasant. Lots of lush greenery cascading into it from the top. Stairs and platforms provide access to the bottom for getting back up if you're brave enough to take the plunge from the top. Changing room/restroom across the street in botanical garden area. This was an unexpected gem, truly a beautiful location and they let us stay as long as we wanted. It was truly a piece of heaven after the crowds at Chichen Itza. No vendors of any kind on site!!

Our AirB&B guide (Jose Eduardo at Chichen Itza Yaxunah project) showed us an amazing experience.

Lovely! Cute village not at all touristy, make sure to watch the pot holes it is quite a drive on the road. Also some amazing ruins not far from the cenote! Steep slippery steps not ADA friendly. It does have rails and life jackets available. Pretty non-touristy, it’s used by the locals. We went on a Saturday and arrived at 2:30pm there was one other couple that stayed for an hour then we had it to ourselves until closing at 5.

Great experience ! One of the least touristy cenote we’ve been to ! Very deep and lots of places to jump from. Life jackets were not compulsory and they were free for once ! 100 pesos to get in. You had nothing on site though - barely enough space to park, no bathroom, no bars - but is that really a problem ? We went on a busy Saturday after chichen itza and there was about 10 people. The cenote is not very well indicated so make sure you know how to get there ( no signal after Pisté for us). It’s a very raw and unique experience - would highly recommend it !!!! You can pretty much jump from any spot above the cenote (about 5-7m I think) and the water is deep enough. We’ve seen kids jumping from literally every side!!!
