★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Via zeilboottour op deze cenote geweest. Ga hier niet zomaar (zonder zwemvest) zwemmen, er overlijden hier elk jaar wel een aantal mensen omdat de stroming hier erg onverwachts kan zijn. De cenote is 100 meter diep en mede daarom echt heel donker, vandaar de benaming. Je kunt op de rand van het meer naar de cenote de plotselinge overgang van een zichtbare bodem naar een donkerblauwe uitzochtloos gat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno de los varios cenotes en las cercanías de Bacalar, no es el más turístico, pero si uno de los más impresionantes, es una caída muy abrupta, se dice que es el más profundo de la zona y si es imponente, nosé puede acceder a el a menos que sea por propiedad privada o lancha, pero no te dejan nadar ahí por seguridad.
Casi siempre es el primer Cenote que se visita en paseos de lancha.
