You're not going to beat the atmosphere, view and value of the food. 5 stars even after I was pretty angry on how long it took to get the check - over 15 minutes. To management, tourists hate waiting to pay. We are on a tight schedule.

March 2022 - the cenote is brown, filthy and closed. The restaurant is still open and I must say the service is excellent, nice atmosphere and music, good food. Even though the cenote is out of commission I recommend the restaurant. Props to them for forging ahead despite the cenote being on pause. Apparently a theater was built next door and the cenote cannot be cleaned until the construction is completed. :-(

This is a beautiful natural wonder. I would love to be able to spend time in the refreshing waters daily. The fish love to nibble at your feet...??? The restaurant has good food and great service staff. There are wood craftsmen selling their beautiful works of art. This place is well worth a come see. Also the Mayan temple representatives are very interesting and engaging.

This was our fist Cenote experience in Mexico and it was amazing! It is located right in the middle of Valladolid city. The water was very clear with a lot of fish. I would recommend to come here in the morning because you will have the whole place only for you. Also the entrace fee is very cheap (30 pesos - May 2021)

The location is awesome, it's downtown but feels like somewhere in the jungle far away. Everyone was respectful and cheered people on when they got scared to jump off the cliffs. There is a restaurant and bathrooms, although I didn't try these but I know they are there. They are redoing a lot of the top of area but it didn't effect using the cenote. Also, free parking on the street. We will definitely be back! 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great cenote adjacent to restaurant. Excellent food and service. Probably the cleanest bathroom in Mexico. Be careful stairs are slippery in the cenote!

Yucatan has over 6.000 cenotes spread over the peninsula. Some of them are hard to reach as they're in a jungle, in a remote area with a bad road to reach them. Zaci is the only one set right in the center of town, 10 min walk from the Cathedral. Because of that, I must admit I didn't expect much of it. Damn, I was wrong. It was one of the best (out of 8) we visited. It's a semi open cenote with the super cheap entry fee of only 30 Pesos (1,5 $). If you're an adrenaline junkie there're several spots for jumping in water ranging from 1 to 7-8 meters.
