★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a magickal place with two of the most beautiful Cenotes we've ever seen! Very clean, crystal clear waters enhanced by fantastic facilities - including enchanting tunnels and a channel that connects the otherwise separate Cenotes.
The first Cenote is partially open and during this season (January) hosts swallows that serenaded us while we relaxed. From there you swim through a tunnel to the channel, which is open to the sky and surrounded by lush greenery that extends the entire height of the channel walls. You swim beneath a waterfall (made from a part of the hacienda's original irrigation system) before exiting the channel. From here you walk through another tunnel to reach the second Cenote, which is completely enclosed in a cave. The second Cenote is deep and dark, but the expansive features of the cave are expertly showcased with underwater lighting. This also causes the delighting glimmer of the water to cascade across the walls and ceilings of the cave as well. The experience is truly ethereal!
We arrived right at opening, on a weekday, in the off season. This provided us with the unique opportunity to enjoy a completely private tour. Even on a weekday in the off season though, the parking lot was all but filled up by the time we left at about 1pm. We would highly recommend arriving at opening to enjoy the experience without crowds!
We made our reservation via WhatsApp and we're able to book a English tour which was really great as well. The hacienda is in ruins but the tour provides interesting insights into the history of the place, with a bygone henequen processing demonstration too!
The onsite restaurant has delicious drinks and foods - we really enjoyed the Civiche, Pechuga de Pollo, Flan de la Abuela and Maja Blanco. The pool, restrooms and gift shop are all charming as well. All around an absolutely wonderful day trip from Merida! We hope to return to the Yucatan again soon and when we do, we will definitely visit this unique place once more :D :D :D

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful cenote. Swimming in the cenote was magical and really does transport you to another world. I would highly recommend bringing your snorkel mask because underwater is equally, if not more beautiful than above water. My guide was great and shared a lot of good information. If you don't speak Spanish then I would recommend taking a tour with more English speakers, otherwise you will miss a lot of information. It was a truly magical experience. If you are a tourist, it is on the VERY expensive side for a cenote as entry is 590 pesos ( about $30). For me, it was worth the expense.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is easily the most beautiful cenote that we have visited. The facilities are very high quality and even the food and drink service is good.
There is an interesting tour of the hacienda ruins included in the admission price. You should call in advance to make a reservation for a tour in English, otherwise you will get a tour in Spanish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took this trip as part of a shore excursion off of a cruise ship. This is hands down one of the best experiences I ever had. I am hooked and would love to visit this cenote again. We had a light lunch with a horchata aqua fresca. The food and drink was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place is clean and they were disinfecting masks and life vests. Of course with any cruise excursions you feel rushed but this did not take away from my experience here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place, we’ll worth the value. Bring goggles, amazing views if you can see below. Go for the 11:30 tour. You will see the cave when the natural sunlight enters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I read mixed reviews and I have to agree with both. Expensive to go in and yes it’s guided meaning you can’t go on our own. It’s a bit rushed but it is absolutely worth the experience! There is nothing on this earth that compares to the cave! It’s so clean and clear. We felt safe the entire time. Out of the entire groups I was the only one with a phone. You can purchase photos at the end but don’t forget your phone. Not sure if I missed that you’re not allowed to but I brought mine and no one said a word! We still bought the photos. 400 pesos for 14 photos a bit pricey but worth it.
We ate at the restaurant and it was actually good and prices were on point. Definitely worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Cenote that is well worth a visit. There are changing rooms, modern restrooms, lockers and more. There is a bar and restaurant. The food was some of the best we had over our visit. The grounds were very well kept and worth a walk around.
