★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica o mejor conocido como CIO, es uno de los mejores centros de investigación de México y me atrevería a decir que el de toda Latinoamérica. Sus instalaciones están muy bien desde los equipos hasta su construcción en general. Tiene áreas al aire libre y un riachuelo para a través de el. Tiene estacionamiento para todos los que asistan así sean docentes, investigadores o alumnos. El trato en general de todos los que laboran en ese lugar es bueno, sólo hay alguno que otro que se pasa de prepotente. Tiene una biblioteca que está muy completa en la rama de la óptica aunque es un deficiente en otras áreas.
No cuentan con servicio de cafetería en las instalaciones como tal pero a su alrededor hay muchos lugares donde se puede ir a comer. Hay máquinas expendedoras de comida como papas, refrescos o galletas.
Entre semana por las mañanas ofrecen un café muy rico por un precio muy bajo, además de que puedes tomar todas las galletas que quieras o en ocasiones ofrecen pay o pastel.
Es una buena alternativa de estudios o de trabajo ya que se relacionan con muchas áreas de la industria o de la medicina.
The Optical Research Center or better known as CIO, is one of the best research centers in Mexico and I would dare say that in all of Latin America. Its facilities are very good from the equipment to its construction in general. It has outdoor areas and a stream running through it. It has parking for all who attend, whether they are teachers, researchers or students. The treatment in general of all those who work in that place is good, there are only some who are overbearing. It has a library that is very complete in the field of optics, although it is deficient in other areas.
They do not have a cafeteria service on the premises as such but around it there are many places where you can go to eat. There are vending machines for food such as potatoes, sodas or cookies.
During the week in the mornings they offer a very rich coffee for a very low price, plus you can have all the cookies you want or sometimes they offer pie or cake.
It is a good alternative for studies or work since they are related to many areas of industry or medicine.
