Lo puedo asegurar, no hay mejor escuela que esta, es única y excepcional.

Mil y un cosas faltan por mejorar; empezando porque las clases jamás las volvio a dar y si las da es cada inicio de año nuevo chino.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Por mucho tiempo quise entrar al CAM porque me habían hablado maravillas de esa escuela y por lo poquitito que publican en redes sociales, da la impresión de que es una institución de primer nivel en lo que se refiere a las artes marciales; casi casi al nivel del Templo Shaolin.
Cuando hablé con el sifu por primera vez, me ofreció un descuento de $400 sobre la mensualidad normal de $1250. Y yo estaba encantado, obviamente. No imaginaba lo caro que me iba resultar, ya que todos los sábados y domingos después de clases nos ponía -sin retribución alguna y al estilo del Sr. Miyagi pero sin estar orientado a un aprendizaje marcial- todo tipo de trabajos "domésticos" como: barrer y trapear el gimnasio y el dojo, pelar mangos, podar la enredadera y las decenas de plantas de las macetas, pelar cables, ponerles las fundas a los sillones, limpiar la pecera, cortar hojas, organizar candados y llaves, organizar las fotos de los álbumes (que no eran 2 ó 3), limpiar todos los vidrios, etc.,
Las clases no siempre las imparte el sifu, de hecho si digo que imparte la mitad de ellas, estoy exagerando. Normalmente pone a sus instructores a impartirlas y pues ellos lo hacen lo mejor que pueden pero la verdad es que sus formas y ejecuciones dejan mucho que desear sobre todo si uno se pone a revisar los vídeos de otras escuelas aquí en CDMX, e inclusive los que publican los instructores chinos como Amin Wu, Samuel Kwok, Wong Kiew Kit, Peter Chen, Wang Yanji, Ip Ching, Ip Chun y otros... Y es que en serio, hay ciertas posiciones que no se parecen en nada a las que deben de ser.
En 8 meses que estuve ahí, no nos pusieron combate ni una sola vez. Se supone que enseñan Wing Chun (O Ving Tsun según le llaman también). Pues pregúntenme cuántas veces en esos 8 meses hicimos ejecuciones de cuchillo mariposa, palo largo, y chacos.. Armas fundamentales en esta modalidad de Kung Fu!!!!
Tomando en cuenta lo anterior, creo que el precio de los mensualidades es excesivo si el sifu no te va a impartir las clases. No vas a pagar $1,250 por 8 clases que te impartan los aprendices!
Pregúntenme cuántas veces nos pusieron a meditar con el tazón tibetano... Pregúntenme cuántas posiciones de Qi Gong (O Chi Kung) hicismos aparte de las 6 muy básicas. Cuándo nos explicaron paso a paso las posiciones de las formas 24 y 48 de Tai Chi... El contenido de los vídeos que han publicado en su canal de YouTube, tiene poco o ningún parecido a lo que yo viví.
Mencionan un programa que según en dos años te permite dominar los aspectos principales del Kung Fu y Tai Chi que se enseña en el CAM. Pues sinceramente después de 8 meses no quedaba nada claro en qué consistía exactamente ese programa y cómo en el plazo restante uno podía aprender bien bien las formas y demás.
El maestro Chen, que en paz descanse, fue eso sí, el mejor instructor que conocí. Excelente la forma en que nos explicaba y la paciencia que nos tenía.
Así que cuando quieran practicar algún arte marcial, piensen y analicen muy bien en qué escuela quieren inscribirse.

Master Chen, may he rest in peace, was, yes, the best instructor I ever met. Excellent the way he explained us and the patience he had for us.
So when you want to practice some martial art, think and analyze very well which school you want to enroll in.
