★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have given this spot 5 stars but the girl at the counter who served me wasn't very nice. I understand that my Spanish isn't great, but at least I was trying. No smile, no acknowledgement, nothing. The pastry and tea that I had we're very good but honestly the girl's rudeness will probably keep me from going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent coffee and espresso drinks. Absolutely fabulous pastries and baked goods. Friendly service and good prices (check out the breakfast combinations!). We returned multiple times after we found Central Bakery, during our CDMX stay. Karin, behind the counter, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. A delectable flaky croissant breakfast sandwich and a perfect soy latte started many of my days of exploration!
