Central Park - La Veleta

My friends and I stayed in the 3 bedroom 3 bath penthouse apartment. The apartment was very spacious and modern. The landscape is beautiful as well. The Thai restaurant there is magnificent! I will have to do a separate review on that. Now the only thing I would say negative is that the road leading to Central Park have crater size potholes.

Beautiful Resort with a tasty restaurant and a great gym inside. Take care with the potholes at the street all around!

I've stayed here multiple times. Customer service is HORRIBLE, they are not people friendly. Security is incompetent. The roads up to the place suck as well. The spa in the back there is very nice but it's almost not worth even walking through because of the Front desk people. There are so many other places in Tulum to stay that are much more people friendly.

very nice stay at Central Park by Los Amigos. Our Room was a perfect get away in with access to the main Tulum centro. Super comfy room and amazing service from the lobby staff. This accomodation comes with free entry to a leaf Spa and also you can access the gym. the pools are very clean and nice I highly recommemd tgis place its quality place for good reasonable price

Zero stars if possible. Stayed here two years ago, had a great time, recommended it since then and came back here to enjoy it. Terrible experience. Booked through their website given to me by their whatsapp employee. Booked what I thought was 3 nights but was 1. Check in at 3, check out at 11am. We tried explaining what happened and they agreed to let us use their pool the next day and book a spa appointment at 4. They even offered to watch our bags after we checked out. Our only night, our sink leaked and ruined my wifes makeup. Cool story, we only have a wedding to go to in 3 days. Checked out the next day at 11, cut our wristbands off, told us we had to leave. Then I whatsapp’d them again, they said we COULD comeback only 20 mins later told us because our “wristbands were cut we could not use the pool” and that wristbands were only for guests. F THIS PLACE. Scam.

If you book a room with Los Amigos, The day before your flight they will email you saying you have been selected for a free upgrade. They send you a different address to their other location, once you get there the concierge will greet you and show you to your room, except this room is much smaller than the room your probably booked online. If you ask why they moved you hotels for a “free upgrade” without your permission they won’t give you a straight answer.. they just try to talk your ear off about the spa and tell you how great it is. They might even give you “free spa time” that you can’t even use because the front desk ladies at the spa will lie you and say they are full… When I asked the concierge to please move us to a room that was the same size as the one I booked online she lied to me and said they are all “studio sized rooms” which I found out from another resident that was a lie… when I confronted her about what she told me she said, oh those rooms are for people who live here… the hotel room we had was very nice, if you’re okay with a rock hard bed, a lot of rules, taking cold showers and listening to your upstairs neighbors stomp around on the hollow floor above the whole time you stay here. I will say that the property is very nice and very clean. But I would recommend staying somewhere else to avoid the headache on your vacation because they’re are thousands of other beautiful resorts at and around tulum that you could stay at for the same price or cheaper.

Never ever book with these guys. I’ve been travelling for 20 years and never ever been treated so disgustingly in my life. They stole money from me and my family pretty much, and I have a new 5 week son. Stay away from these at all cost.
