★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a beautiful place. More modern than ruins, but that's because it is newer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was definitely an interesting place to explore. If you have an interest in history and would like to know about each building and things like that, unfortunately you will be disappointed. There are barely any signs that talk about the history of the place. It does have an incredible view if you climb to the very top (there's many many steps). The little shop has a variety of goods as well as foods to eat. There is only one bathroom though, and if the place is busy, it is likely that the line for the bathroom will be extremely long. I, personally, thought it was worth it to visit though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awe-inspiring place indeed. The sheer size, the almost alien design and the amazing views. Open from 10-3 due to COVID. Reasonable entry fee of 30 per adult,15 per child and 20 for parking. Pets are not allowed. The artesanal market had many stalls closed but all the food places were open and serving some delicious tlacoyos, quesadillas and gorditas, also coffee and atole. Plenty of vegetarian options and reasonably priced. The toilets are next to this mercado. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs. Allow for 1 to 1.5 hours atleast. The place gets quite windy and chilly, take some thick jackets! The morning is best for photo opportunities and gets crowded after noon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place with beautiful garden and great areas for bbq , and camping
They have cabins but not for rent and you can stay only 24 hours
There is small market for handcrafts and clean loo
You can walk everywhere inside and there is museum that looks a bit old and not cared for
Worth visiting but the road from Mexico City is a bit difficult and not great

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful and beautiful place with gorgeous views of the Toluca Valley. Great place to escape Mexico City. This is a replica of the IX century place for religious and civic ceremonies. The Center was built in 1980 to provide a tribute to the Otomi people. This is a place of high altitude where athletes train ( over 3,000 meters ASL, around 9,800 feet ASL). A handcrafts market is located at the center, it is small, but great prices and most important original pieces of art not souvenirs imported from China.
