El centro comercial el parián, cuenta con más de 178 años de vida en Aguascalientes, sin embargo la tradición del parián data de tiempo atrás durante el periodo de la colonia, la palabra parián proviene de las filipinas cuando en 1564 se decide construir una especie de central de abastos para realizar el comercio con la Nueva España. El centro comercial Aguascalientes es hoy en día un moderno centro comercial que continua con la tradición de los parianes originales, en los cuales se puede encontrar una muy variada selección de artículos tanto típicos como cosmopolitas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for a walk and maybe a quick meal. Usually crowded, expect to spend good minutes here in a line to pay for anything you buy in the popular stores. Even when the building looks great from the outside, once you're in it feels as if it was an old and decaying subway station of sorts: dark, barely cleaned and with skipped maintenances due to a small budget.
