This is an interesting area BUT... There are some beautiful old buildings and houses and there are also some parks and gardens with very interesting constructions and trying to keep that 17th century atmosphere. But the area is so crowded and perhaps it is because Mexico city doesn´t have too many places, parks or gardens big enough for thousands of people who gather every weekend like in this area. Every weekend is more or less the same experience. A lot of people, restaurants with overpriced menus, and some services with people who are not particularly polite. Here are some recommendations: Try not to go by car. Use public transportation or a taxi, because there are not many parking lots. Turibus is a good option (Look for it in Google) And use the trolley services. It is fun and you can see all theses buildings with an explanation. Coyoacán is a place with friendly people, but like any popular Mexico city destination, crime does exist. Use common sense and be vigilant when traveling throughout this area or any place in this big city. Keep your expensive jewelry, passport and other valuables in your hotel room safe when you go sightseeing. Keep your handbags or backpacks in front of you. Avoid walking through alleys and side streets. Be careful when there is a show in the park or garden with a lot of people. Travel in groups after dark. And don´t carry large amounts of cash. Some restaurants are not good but they really know how to charge. Check always the menu first and keep one during the meal so you won´t be overcharged. This is something funny. There are many good restaurants with better prices and better services near Coyoacan. And they are lovely with fair prices. Check them out in Tripadvisor. Have a good trip.

Not an overwhelming size of plaza. It is very well located, easy access to get there, walking in a car or public transportation.

Nice shopping mall, not too much stores, but they have full measures against COVID (NOV-DEC). Younwill feel safe

Fairly non-descript mall that occasionally has some strange odor from the bathrooms on the second floor that permeates the building. Shopping options aren't terrific. I think about 80% of the mall's visitors only go to the Starbucks.

Great place to go for a walk and explore its surroundings. There are a bunch of little artesenal stores around as well as small cafes and restaursnts. The restaursnts have high prices as this is a really busy and frequent tourist stop. Go with some extra time and make sure to simply stop and sit in a bench and see the activity all around you.

Nice mall with good options of stores. You will have from Sephora, Tommy Hilfiger to Sambors. Good options of food at the food court. During Christmas, they have a nice decoration with Santa to the kids.

A good day trip from Centro Mexico City

Very busy even on still pandemics times
