I operated one of my eyes to leave the glasses, the doctor's attention was excellent, honest and of good treatment. First class and very clean consulting room, waiting room and operating room facilities. In cost compare with another clinic and it was much better price here, almost half the price. The only but, is that it has a large number of patients and therefore the dates for an appointment can take up to 15 days or more, you also have to go to the consultations with extreme patience, it is very late in going to the consultation, if it needs to improve respect for the times of his patients, ...., but it is worth it.

I went to Dr. Yves Daniel Leroy years ago to correct a congenital palpebral ptosis (droopy eyelid), but he did not perform the surgery well and the eyelid looked bad. He had a blepharoplasty where he removed part of the eyelid skin instead of performing a levator muscle resection. My eye hasn't closed properly since then. Throughout the surgery he was singing and talking with the nurses, after suturing he asked me to sit down, I sat up, he said that he had made a mistake, he removed the stitches he had just made and he sutured the eyelid a second time. Later I learned that it is not necessary to sit during the operation in the operating room. During recovery, my eye became very inflamed, a very large bruise appeared that took two weeks to go away, that is not normal. The surgery did not achieve a functional or aesthetic improvement, the superior visual field was still obstructed and left the palpebral fold very different from the other eye, there was more asymmetry than before. In the postoperative evaluation, he said that a second surgery would be necessary to fix his first surgery, and insisted that I not go to another doctor. I asked him to see photographs of his patients, of similar successful cases, but the only thing he showed me were cases of cosmetic blepharoplasty in elderly people, no cases of congenital palpebral ptosis, they are different interventions. The surgery performed affected the mobility of the eyelid, and I will no longer be able to close the eye that operated on me properly.
