★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un lugar muy recomendable para pasar un fin de semana agradable en medio de la naturaleza, me encanta la cercanía que se tiene con los animales, espacios muy bien conservados, cabañas y hotel para disfrutar al 100% y estacionamiento. Cobrar la entrada por persona.

Hoy convertido en centro de conservación, lo que deberá permitirle durar muchos más años en buenas condiciones.
Entre sus atractivos cuenta con una laguna, un pequeño zoológico, zona de acampar, zona EE hotel, áreas verdes.
Tiene estacionamientos.
Es un lugar muy agradable.

Los animales del zoológico muy bien cuidados aunque si le falta algo de mantenimiento pues había cables no se si eran de luz o de telefonía pero estaban atravesados sobre una cancha de fútbol. Lo único que no nos agradó fue que no hay tantos lugares para comer, solo vimos 1 y la señora que atendía no usaba CUBREBOCAS por lo que no pudimos comer ahí. Ya cuando salíamos iban llegando otros señores a vender comida pero igualmente sin CUBREBOCAS.
Very nice place for a picnic. The animals at the zoo are very well cared for, although they do need some maintenance because there were cables, I don't know if they were for electricity or telephone lines, but they were across a soccer field. The only thing we didn't like was that there aren't that many places to eat, we only saw 1 and the lady who served us didn't wear a COVER so we couldn't eat there. When we left, other gentlemen were arriving to sell food but also without COVERS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El zoológico es un gran espacio para aprender sobre animales aún cuando el número de especies y el tamaño del zoológico no es tan grande en comparación a otros zoológicos, pero se compensa con todo lo que puedes disfrutar.
Este zoológico cuenta con un buena variedad de especies animales, principalmente mexicanas, aunque también se encontrarán especies de otros continentes como es el caso de los tigres.
Por otra parte es de destacar que los animales se encuentran en muy buenas condiciones, todos muestran buen peso y tamaño, y aunque es cierto que algunos podrían parecer descuidados como es el caso de los bisontes, la realidad es que estos también están en excelentes condiciones, solo hay que entender que los animales a veces llevan procesos como muda de pelo, celo y otros comportamientos.
Un lugar al que chicos y grandes disfrutarán demasiado y que seguramente será su espacio favorito en el Ocotal.
The zoo is a great space to learn about animals even though the number of species and the size of the zoo is not that great compared to other zoos, but it is compensated with everything that you can enjoy.
This zoo has a good variety of animal species, mainly Mexican, although you will also find species from other continents such as tigers.
On the other hand, it is noteworthy that the animals are in very good condition, they all show good weight and size, and although it is true that some might seem neglected, such as the bison, the reality is that these are also in excellent condition. You just have to understand that animals sometimes carry processes such as shedding, heat and other behaviors.
A place that young and old will enjoy too much and that will surely be their favorite space in Ocotal.
