★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En Mapatón 2017 visite este Centro de Innovación y Desarrollo Tecnólogico cuenta con rampas, estacionamiento, barandales en diferentes areas, baño para personas con discapacidad. No cuenta con elevador para accesar al segundo nivel.
In Mapatón 2017 visit this Center for Innovation and Technological Development has ramps, parking, railings in different areas, bathroom for people with disabilities. It does not have an elevator to access the second level.

El origen del CIDETEC tiene como antecedente un proyecto de autoequipamiento en materia de cómputo concebido por el Dr. Miguel Lindig Bos entonces investigador de la sección de graduados de UPIICSA, durante los años de 1981 a 1986.
En 1987 se crea el Centro de Investigación Tecnológica en Computación (CINTEC), su objetivo principal será desarrollar el proyecto de autoequipamiento antes mencionado.
En 1997 el CINTEC se transforma en el CIDETEC, teniendo como objetivos principales consolidar la infraestructura de cómputo institucional y el aprovechamiento de las ventajas tecnológicas para incidir en los procesos productivos, sin olvidar la educación profesionalizante en sus diferentes modalidades. Como consecuencia de lo anterior, en 2004, es autorizado un nuevo programa de Maestría en Tecnología de Cómputo.
En el año 2007 el CIDETEC festeja su décimo aniversario con la inauguración de sus nuevas instalaciones, un edificio de diseño novedoso y funcional, adecuado a las necesidades propias del centro y ubicado en el corredor de cómputo del IPN en la Unidad Profesional Adolfo López Mateos en Zacatenco.
Center for Innovation and Technological Development in Computing (CIDETEC)
The origin of CIDETEC has as background a self-furnishing project in the field of computation conceived by Dr. Miguel Lindig Bos then researcher of the UPIICSA graduate section, during the years from 1981 to 1986.
In 1987 the Center for Technological Research in Computing (CINTEC) was created, its main objective will be to develop the self-equipment project mentioned above.
In 1997, CINTEC became CIDETEC, with the main objectives of consolidating the institutional computing infrastructure and taking advantage of technological advantages to influence production processes, without forgetting professionalizing education in its different modalities. As a consequence of the above, in 2004, a new Master's program in Computer Technology is authorized.
In 2007, CIDETEC celebrates its tenth anniversary with the inauguration of its new facilities, a new and functional design building, adapted to the needs of the center and located in the IPN computer corridor in the Adolfo López Mateos Professional Unit in Zacatenco
