El lugar está tranquilo y la gente que acude a este lugar se porta de una manera agradable para poder pasar el rato de la mejor manera posible. Entre las áreas con las que cuenta cabe destacar que están dos auditorios, la Sala Polivalente y el Auditorio de Doctorado Dr. Raúl Quintero Flores. Además en el se encuentran oficinas, cubículos, aulas y laboratorios dispuestos en tres niveles, en los cuales catedráticos investigadores y estudiantes realizan estudios especializados e investigación científica en las áreas de la ciencia de ingeniería de materiales, ingeniería eléctrica y sistemas y redes de cómputo. En este edificio de la facultad los baños son de traje, traje papel, traje jabón, etc. El elevador siempre tiene fallas y las escaleras están mal diseñadas ya que las personas de estatura alta tienen que agacharse para no golpearse el craneo en la parte superior.
